President Obama and other Democrats criticize so much “outside money” in support of GOP candidates getting into this election.
As I sit here in North Carolina’s 8th. Congressional District, I am looking at six glossy “political” brochures in support of Democrat Party candidate Larry Kissell and/or against Republican Party candidate Harold Johnson. On two separate occasions, two of these six different glossy “political” brochures came the same days. Additionally, there is probably more of the same to come.
With over 600,000 residents in the NC 8th. Congressional District, with each household representing four persons, 80% of each household representing one registered voter/household, each “glossy” brochure’s production, handling, and mailing cost of $3.00 each, with six mailings, you must come up to a total of $2,160,000 from the “NEA Fund for Children and Public Education”, a subsidiary of the “Teachers’ Union”. Why doesn’t President Obama and others criticize these expenditures?

Hoyer v. Lollar in MD. 5th. District – Issue is jobs, jobs, and more jobs

Americans are angry at Obama/Reid/Pelosi’s Team of wasteful legislation. Obama/Reid/Pelosi’s leadership has damaged our economy by legislating taxpayers’ unproductive projects and by impeding Constitutional freedoms, rather than developing productive policies for more employment. Obama/Reid/Pelosi’s legislations have further hampered our economy of producing new jobs. Democrats have no solutions for a recovering economy; therefore, they must accept responsibility for their failures.

If you support Obama/Reid/Pelosi’s ObamaCare, Stimulus, Cap & Trade, Banks and Wall Street Bailouts, etc., legislations, and if you support more government and more taxes, vote for Steny Hoyer.
If you oppose Obama/Reid/Pelosi’s ObamaCare, Stimulus, Cap & Trade, Banks and Wall Street Bailouts, etc., legislations, but you do support reducing government spending, reducing taxes and other incentives to create jobs, vote for Charles Lollar. Three UC, NC Commissioners deliver personal greed and stupid political judgment

A short few years ago, a greedy and defeated Union County “Commission” majority decided to extend Union County’s Manager contract, just prior to a new majority of a five member Board being duly chosen, elected and sworn into office. These “greedy” and defeated commissioners knew Union County voters elected a new majority to hire a UC Manager. The decision of the greedy, stupid-politically speaking, and defeated out-going majority ended up costing Union County’s’ taxpayers over $1 million.
In April 2009, a current majority UC Board Commissioners initiated the sale of CMC-Union. This discussion continued even thought an overwhelming majority of Union County’s citizens continued to say “NO”. Maintaining the ownership of CMC-Union was the major issue in the May 2010 Primary Election. UC Commissioner, Lanny Openshaw, who led the majority for selling CMC-Union, was soundly defeated. UC’s two other Commissioner majorities, Tracy Kuehler and Kim Rogers, who supported the sale of CMC-Union, are not up for reelection until 2012.
These same three majority UC Commissioners are currently interviewing a new UC Manager. The current majority may be losing out with the defeat of Openshaw, as these three existing majority commissioners who fired the previous UC Manager, are pressing the issue to hire a new UC Manager only days prior to three new elected majorities of three UC Commissioners are to be voted into office on November 2.
Current UC Commissioners’ activity of hiring a new UC Manager only days before the General Election of new majorities of UC Commissioners is another example of “personal greed” and “stupid-politically speaking judgment”. This majority’s decisions of choice(s) in selling CMC-Union and/or hiring a new UC Manager now are defiant to Union County’s majorities’ voters’ choice(s). Commissioners Rogers, Kuehler, and Openshaw; please wake up and grow up! Govern in the best interest of Union County.

2010 Elections: It’s the economy stupid

Since President Obama’s swearing in ceremony in January 2009, the Obama/Reid/Pelosi team has managed to spend more than “$3 trillion” more than America’s income. When we look at the current National Debt Clock http://www.usdebtclock.org/, we see there are some 11,412,210 “US income taxpayers”. By a simple division with arithmetic, you can calculate each US income taxpayer’s debt has increased by $26,927.03 each, in less than 2 years.
Dr. Adrian Rogers said, “Friend, you cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. And what one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government can’t give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody. And when half of the people get the idea they don’t have to work because the other half’s going to take care of them, and when the other half get the idea it does no good to work because somebody’s going to get what I work for, that, dear friend, is about the end of any nation.”
The Obama/Reid/Pelosi team insisted that these multiple Democrat Party legislations’ expenditures were all about a recovering economy. We now have $3 trillion of US income taxpayers’ funds depleted while we have more unemployed Americans.
The fight on Capitol Hill is Democrat Party’s more spending, more government, and less Constitutional freedoms v. Republican Party’s less spending, less government, more tax relief for all, more jobs for a growing economy, and restoring Constitutional freedoms.
If you desire more government programs like ObamaCare, you may choose to vote for Democrat Party candidates.
If you desire to reverse ObamaCare, support “tort reform” in an effort to control/stop healthcare lawsuits, and you want the right to choose your own healthcare at a reasonable cost, you may choose to vote for Republican Party candidates.
If you desire more government programs like Cap and Trade legislation which will dramatically increase businesses’ cost and consumers’ cost; therefore destroying more jobs and increasing more unemployment, you may choose to vote for Democrat Party candidates.
If you desire less government programs like Cap and Trade legislation which would dramatically increase businesses’ cost and consumers’ cost; therefore destroying more jobs, but you do support less government growth, less government regulation, and you support more tax relief for all to create jobs, you may choose to vote for Republican Party candidates.
If you support more government programs like the “Banks and Wall Street Bailouts”, you may choose to vote for Democrat Party candidates. Is it strange that Democrat Party candidates on Capitol Hill are not running on the listed issues they “crammed down our throats”?
In summary, if you believe in an open and free economy allowing individuals, as well as small, middle, and large businesses, to be allowed to invest their profits into creating new jobs and expanding existing jobs; and if you believe these businesses should not receive taxpayers’ bailouts, you may choose to vote for Republican Party candidates.
