In 1963, SCOTUS ordered the Bible readings to be removed from our public schools, attacking the Judeo-Christian values which were used as a tool to teach our children in the public schools. Since that time, radical left-wing Liberals alike to the ACLU’s agenda, has pushed the Supreme Court ruling to the point that children in public schools cannot even sing Christmas carols. It was this SCOTUS decision when our morality values started declining in the public schools. Our Holy Bible teachings “help”, not hinder in a correct direction of life.
Now, many in the NEA want to indoctrinate our children to promote Obama’s Socialistic values, rather than the teachings of our Ten Commandments. How would Liberals in the NEA public schools consider allowing the consequence of any elected Republican Conservative, or any other Conservative Christian leader’s social values to be praised and/or taught to their students?

Pulpit Freedom Sunday 2009
There is great news about recent efforts to free pastors and pulpits from the threat of government interference, especially from the IRS. (No government restrictions were placed on the pulpit until 1954, when freshman U. S. Senator Lyndon Baines Johnson added a one-line provision to a Senate bill limiting the right of non-profits to engage in what had always previously been free speech.)
Last year, Alliance Defense Fund, a premier national legal group that defends the constitutional rights of Christians, organized a concerted effort to push back against this unconstitutional government intrusion. On September 28, 2008, numerous pastors participated in "Pulpit Freedom Sunday" by preaching a sermon specifically addressing the candidates running for president in light of Scriptural truths.
For example, during the presidential primaries in May 2008, the Rev. Gus Booth of Warroad Community Church in Minnesota told his congregation:
"If you are a Christian, you cannot support a candidate like Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton for president....They both support abortion and homosexual marriage, and the Scripture vehemently opposes both."
Months later, Pastor Booth preached a sermon addressing the 2008 presidential election. He then turned himself in to the IRS, sending them a copy of both sermons. The IRS has just notified Pastor Booth that it has closed the investigation against him, with no action taken! This is another of several recent cases where the IRS has closed the investigation without taking action against the church or pastor.
This year, the Alliance Defense Fund is encouraging pastors to participate in "Pulpit Freedom Sunday" on September 27, 2009. According to ADF:
(1) ADF will encourage churches and pastors to exercise their right to comment on current government officials and the issues they espouse. Every church should feel very safe in commenting on the moral strengths and weaknesses of sitting politicians and the issues they promote without endangering their tax-exempt status.
(2) Some pastors may choose to exercise their full range of constitutional rights in preaching from the pulpit in ways that may bring them into conflict with the vague standards contained in the Johnson Amendment. ADF continues to believe that the Johnson Amendment is unconstitutional as applied to prohibit any part of a pastor's speech from the pulpit. (By the way, ADF represents pastors and churches without charge should any challenge be filed against them.)

For more than 33 years I discussed the need for a film on the life of Christ which could be used as an evangelistic tool, but our ministry did not have the funds. We even reviewed more than thirty films but most of them were not accurate.

The Islamic community hopes to have 50,000 Muslims surrounding the U.S. Capitol for Jummah prayer this Friday, September 25.
While all people are of course free in America to pray according to the dictates of their own conscience, a look at the leaders of this prayer event raises serious questions about whether this event is good for America.
The main organizer of the event, Hassen Ibn Abdellah, was, according to the New York Times, the "most aggressively combative of the lawyers" representing the terrorists who staged the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. His client was convicted of manufacturing and transporting the bomb and is now in the "Supermax" prison at Florence, Colorado.
In 2004, he tried to get Numan Maflahi off the hook. Maflahi is a New Jersey Muslim who was sentenced to five years in prison for his part in terrorism financing schemes centered in Brooklyn.
In 2007, Abdellah came to the defense of Mahmud Faruq Brent, a Baltimore cabdriver who pled guilty to attending a jihad terrorist training camp in Pakistan, and who, under Abdellah's instructions, refused to cooperate with authorities or testify against other defendants.
The imam who will lead the recitation of the Koran, Sheikh Ahmed Dewidar, is a Manhattan cleric who once said that "through the domination of Islam and its ideas, the White House will change," and spoke approvingly of another cleric who said that one day "the White House will become...the Muslim House."
He has also claimed that Zionists "control the government, the politics, the economy, and the media in the U.S."
In other words, this Islamic prayer event is being led by men who harbor both anti-Semitic and fundamentally anti-America views.
President Barack Obama has barely acknowledged the Christian heritage of the United States, refusing to participate in the National Day of Prayer and issuing only a perfunctory proclamation which he was required to do by law. Yet he has hosted a dinner celebrating what he called "the Holy Month of Ramadan" in the White House, and recently issued a proclamation at the end of Ramadan which concluded with an Arabic blessing.

At the age of 33, Jesus was condemned to death penalty.
That was then the “worst” death. Only the worst criminals could die like Jesus. And with Jesus things were worst, because not all the criminals condemned to death could receive nails on their hands and feet.
Of course, nails… Big nails! Each was 15 a 20 cm long, with a point of 6 cm. Another point was sharp.
The nails were craved into the pulses, and not into the palms, as we are used to hear. In the pulse, there’s a tendon which extends till the shoulder, and when the nails were being hammered, that tendon broke, obliging Jesus to reinforce all the muscles of his back, so that he could breath as He was loosing all the air from his lungs.
In this way, He was forced to support Himself onto the nail craved in his feet, which was bigger than those craved into his pulses, for both feet were craved together. And, as his feet could not endure for long time without tearing, Jesus was forced to alternate that “cycle” so that He could breath.
Jesus endured that reality over 3 hours. Yes, over 3 hours! Long time, isn’t it? Few minutes before He died, Jesus was not bleeding anymore. He was simply pouring water from his cuts and holes.
When we imagine Him injured, we only picture Him with injuries, but it is not enough; His wounds were true holes, made in his body.
He had no more blood to bleed, He only poured water. Human body is composed by near 3.5 litres of blood (for adult).
Jesus poured all 3.5 litres of his blood; He had three nails hammered into his members; a crown of thorns on his head and, beyond that, a Roman soldier who nailed a spear into his chest.
All these without mentioning the humiliation He passed after carrying his own cross for almost 2 kilometres, while the crowd spat on his face and throwed stones (the cross was almost 30 kg of weight, only for its higher part, where his hands were nailed).
Jesus had to pass all this experience, so that you can have free access to God. So that your sins could be “washed”. All of them, with no exception! Don’t ignore this situation. HE DIED FOR YOU!. For you, who now read this in this site. Do not believe that He only died for others (those who go to the church or for pastors, bishops, etc).
He died for you! It is easy to pass jokes or foolish photos by e-mail, but when it comes to God, sometimes you feel ashamed to forward to others because you are worried on what they may think about your moral.

Confirming the literary detective work of WND columnist Jack Cashill prior to the 2008 election, author Christopher Andersen says in a newly released book that former domestic terrorist William Ayers helped Barack Obama write the president's highly acclaimed memoir "Dreams from My Father."

But since July 2008, Cashill has unveiled in nearly two dozen columns, summarized here, his compelling evidence that the unrepentant co-founder of the radical Weather Underground group – dismissed by Obama during the campaign as "just a guy who lives in my neighborhood" – shaped and refined the book with his exceptional writing skill and radical ideas.

Cashill, who acquired a copy of Andersen's new book today, told WND the author "lays out the scenario just as I envisioned it."
Andersen, in "Barack and Michelle: Portrait of a Marriage," writes that Obama was faced with a deadline with the Time Books division of Random House to submit his manuscript after already having canceled a contract with Simon & Schuster. Confronted with the threat of a second failure, his wife, Michelle, suggested he seek the help of "his friend and Hyde Park neighbor Bill Ayers."
Obama had taped interviews with relatives to flesh out his family history, and those "oral histories, along with a partial manuscript and a truckload of notes, were given to Ayers," writes Andersen.
The author quotes a neighbor in the Hyde Park area of Chicago where Obama and Ayers lived, who says of the two, "Everyone knew they were friends and that they worked on various projects together."
"It was no secret. Why would it be? People liked them both," the neighbor said, according to Andersen.
Andersen also has written "marriage portraits" of George and Laura Bush, Bill and Hillary Clinton, and John and Jackie Kennedy. Among his other books are "Somewhere in Heaven: The Remarkable Love Story of Dana and Christopher Reeve," "Barbra: The Way She Is," "Sweet Caroline: Last Child of Camelot" and "After Diana: William, Harry, Charles, and the Royal House of Windsor."
Andersen writes:
In the end, Ayers's contribution to Barack's "Dreams from My Father" would be significant – so much so that the book's language, oddly specific references, literary devices, and themes would bear a jarring similarity to Ayers's own writing.
Andersen concludes, "Thanks to help from the veteran writer Ayers, Barack would be able to submit a manuscript to his editors at Times Books."

Andersen relied on inside sources, quite possibly Michelle Obama, to describe how "Dreams" was published, Cashill says. Andersen cites Cashill as a source, but Cashill points out in a fresh WND column today that Andersen "clearly has access to inside information that I did not have."
"His level of detail on the mechanics of the transmission goes beyond anything that I could have discovered on my own," Cashill writes.
Cashill pointed out in a column last year that in contrast to "Dreams," the Obama writing samples unearthed before 1995 "are pedestrian and uninspired."
"There is no precedent for this kind of literary transformation," Cashill wrote. "It is as if a high 90s golfer suddenly showed up with his PGA card – with no known practice rounds in between."
The evidence Cashill had gathered to that point, he said, "severely tests Obama's claim of a superficial relationship with the self-declared 'communist' Ayers. This appears to be a conscious and consequential deception."
'That's a myth'
Cashill noted in a column in May this year that Ayers was confronted at a Baltimore book-signing by a Washington Times online editor with the question of his alleged role in Obama's book.
In the encounter, which was captured on video, the Times' Kerry Picket asked Ayers if he had received any feedback from Obama on Ayers' latest book, "Race Course: Against White Supremacy."
Ayers asked rhetorically, "Why would I?"
Picket then asked, "Considering that you may have had a collaboration with 'Dreams of My Father.'"
Ayers' body language changed abruptly. Turning away from Picket, he replied curtly, "I never had a collaboration, no."
"No?" she persisted.
"That's a myth," said Ayers, ending the conversation.
Literary cabal
In an interview last night with the Fox News Channel's Sean Hannity, Andersen was asked to comment on his assertion that Ayers helped Obama write "Dreams." Hannity pointed to Andersen's observation that "the literary devices and themes" of the book "bear a jarring similarity to Ayers own writings."
"They were good friends," Andersen affirmed, recalling that during the campaign Obama denied that fact.
"There was a literary cabal there in Chicago," Andersen continued. "They were all giving each other quotes, blurbs to promote their respective books."
Hannity concluded rhetorically: "So (Obama) lied to the American people."
Andersen appeared hesitant to concur, but conceded, "Well, you know, I think, well, let's face it, during that campaign I think he was doing some backpedaling, I'll be honest. And I think that, you know, Michelle probably recommended that he not emphasize the relationship with Ayers."
Forensic evidence
Last fall, Cashill commissioned an independent scientific comparative analysis of writings by Obama and Ayers to determine whether Ayers had a significant role in the writing of "Dreams."
Cashill reported at least four different stylometric analysts supported his extensive forensic evidence.
His experts included university professors from the U.S. and England in the statistical analysis of authorship, systems engineers, writers and Ph.D. literary analysts. Most, particularly professors at public universities, asked that their names not be revealed.
One analyst said it was possible Ayers served as a "book doctor," drastically rewriting work Obama already had done.
Game changer
Cashill conjectures that the apparent revelation of Ayers part in Obama's book would have changed the outcome of the 2008 election.
He recalls that Chris Matthews, host of MSNBC's "Hardball, mocked the Republicans' 2008 vice presidential candidate, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, for needing a collaborator for her book, because "she can't write."
Cashill comments in his column today that as "the Obama-as-Milli Vanilli story unfolds, Matthews and those willfully blind souls like him are in for a shock."
"To admit that Obama needed a collaborator would have undercut his campaign for president," Cashill says, "and to reveal the name of that collaborator would have ended it."

Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council isn't surprised that President Obama is open to the idea of a newspaper bailout, but Perkins knows a bad idea when he hears one.
He led this week's edition of his "Washington Update" with a newspaper bailout blurb headlined "Bad News Bores." Perkins noted Obama's contempt for new media outlets but also emphasized why those outlets are so important:
While it is not unusual for a president to seek favors for a constituency that overwhelmingly supported him, such a bailout would bring into question the partiality of the "mainstream media" even more. The president spoke in fear of the "blogosphere" being "all opinions, with no serious fact-checking, no serious attempts to put stories in context."
First, it is always bad economic policy to reward outdated businesses that refuse to adapt. From Monica Lewinsky to Dan Rather it was the internet that broke the stories that "mainstream media" refused to. Additionally, it is online sources, including FRCAction's own Cloakroom blog, that are keeping the debate over health care honest and as transparent as possible.
Under such scrutiny, it is no wonder that other leading Democrats, including Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., are also looking for ways to use federal tax dollars to bailout newspaper conglomerates. The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees freedom of the press. It would be a shame if the media establishment gave away that freedom in exchange for a few coins.
Amen to that. But a few coins aren't going to salvage the traditional media's sinking reputation or deter the new media watchdogs who have been keeping them in check.

A lesson to be learned from typing the wrong E-mail address:
A Minneapolis couple decided to go to Florida to thaw out during a particularly icy winter. They planned to stay at the same hotel where they spent their honeymoon 20 years before.
Because of their hectic schedules, it was difficult to coordinate their travel schedules. So, the husband left Minneapolis and flew to Florida on Friday, and his wife was flying down the following day.
The husband checked into the hotel, and unlike years ago, there was a computer in his room, and he decided to send an email to his wife. However, he accidentally left out one letter in her E-mail address, and without noticing his error, sent the email to the wrong address.
Meanwhile ... Somewhere in Houston .... A widow had just returned home from her husband's funeral. He was a minister who was called home to glory after suffering a heart attack. The widow decided to check her E-mail, expecting
messages from relatives and friends..... After reading the first message, she screamed and then fainted. The widow's son rushed into the room, found his mother on the floor, and then glanced up and saw the computer screen which read:
To: My Loving Wife
Subject: I have arrived!
Dearest Love:
I know you are surprised to hear from me. They have computers here now, and you are allowed to send E-mail to your loved ones.
I have just arrived and have been checked in. I see that everything has been prepared for your arrival tomorrow, and look forward to seeing you then.

Pulpit Freedom Sunday 2009
There is great news about recent efforts to free pastors and pulpits from the threat of government interference, especially from the IRS. (No government restrictions were placed on the pulpit until 1954, when freshman U. S. Senator Lyndon Baines Johnson added a one-line provision to a Senate bill limiting the right of non-profits to engage in what had always previously been free speech.)
Last year, Alliance Defense Fund, a premier national legal group that defends the constitutional rights of Christians, organized a concerted effort to push back against this unconstitutional government intrusion. On September 28, 2008, numerous pastors participated in "Pulpit Freedom Sunday" by preaching a sermon specifically addressing the candidates running for president in light of Scriptural truths.
For example, during the presidential primaries in May 2008, the Rev. Gus Booth of Warroad Community Church in Minnesota told his congregation:
"If you are a Christian, you cannot support a candidate like Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton for president....They both support abortion and homosexual marriage, and the Scripture vehemently opposes both."
Months later, Pastor Booth preached a sermon addressing the 2008 presidential election. He then turned himself in to the IRS, sending them a copy of both sermons. The IRS has just notified Pastor Booth that it has closed the investigation against him, with no action taken! This is another of several recent cases where the IRS has closed the investigation without taking action against the church or pastor.
This year, the Alliance Defense Fund is encouraging pastors to participate in "Pulpit Freedom Sunday" on September 27, 2009. According to ADF:
(1) ADF will encourage churches and pastors to exercise their right to comment on current government officials and the issues they espouse. Every church should feel very safe in commenting on the moral strengths and weaknesses of sitting politicians and the issues they promote without endangering their tax-exempt status.
(2) Some pastors may choose to exercise their full range of constitutional rights in preaching from the pulpit in ways that may bring them into conflict with the vague standards contained in the Johnson Amendment. ADF continues to believe that the Johnson Amendment is unconstitutional as applied to prohibit any part of a pastor's speech from the pulpit. (By the way, ADF represents pastors and churches without charge should any challenge be filed against them.)

The Islamic community hopes to have 50,000 Muslims surrounding the U.S. Capitol for Jummah prayer this Friday, September 25.
While all people are of course free in America to pray according to the dictates of their own conscience, a look at the leaders of this prayer event raises serious questions about whether this event is good for America.
The main organizer of the event, Hassen Ibn Abdellah, was, according to the New York Times, the "most aggressively combative of the lawyers" representing the terrorists who staged the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. His client was convicted of manufacturing and transporting the bomb and is now in the "Supermax" prison at Florence, Colorado.
In 2004, he tried to get Numan Maflahi off the hook. Maflahi is a New Jersey Muslim who was sentenced to five years in prison for his part in terrorism financing schemes centered in Brooklyn.
In 2007, Abdellah came to the defense of Mahmud Faruq Brent, a Baltimore cabdriver who pled guilty to attending a jihad terrorist training camp in Pakistan, and who, under Abdellah's instructions, refused to cooperate with authorities or testify against other defendants.
The imam who will lead the recitation of the Koran, Sheikh Ahmed Dewidar, is a Manhattan cleric who once said that "through the domination of Islam and its ideas, the White House will change," and spoke approvingly of another cleric who said that one day "the White House will become...the Muslim House."
He has also claimed that Zionists "control the government, the politics, the economy, and the media in the U.S."
In other words, this Islamic prayer event is being led by men who harbor both anti-Semitic and fundamentally anti-America views.
President Barack Obama has barely acknowledged the Christian heritage of the United States, refusing to participate in the National Day of Prayer and issuing only a perfunctory proclamation which he was required to do by law. Yet he has hosted a dinner celebrating what he called "the Holy Month of Ramadan" in the White House, and recently issued a proclamation at the end of Ramadan which concluded with an Arabic blessing.

At the age of 33, Jesus was condemned to death penalty.
That was then the “worst” death. Only the worst criminals could die like Jesus. And with Jesus things were worst, because not all the criminals condemned to death could receive nails on their hands and feet.
Of course, nails… Big nails! Each was 15 a 20 cm long, with a point of 6 cm. Another point was sharp.
The nails were craved into the pulses, and not into the palms, as we are used to hear. In the pulse, there’s a tendon which extends till the shoulder, and when the nails were being hammered, that tendon broke, obliging Jesus to reinforce all the muscles of his back, so that he could breath as He was loosing all the air from his lungs.
In this way, He was forced to support Himself onto the nail craved in his feet, which was bigger than those craved into his pulses, for both feet were craved together. And, as his feet could not endure for long time without tearing, Jesus was forced to alternate that “cycle” so that He could breath.
Jesus endured that reality over 3 hours. Yes, over 3 hours! Long time, isn’t it? Few minutes before He died, Jesus was not bleeding anymore. He was simply pouring water from his cuts and holes.
When we imagine Him injured, we only picture Him with injuries, but it is not enough; His wounds were true holes, made in his body.
He had no more blood to bleed, He only poured water. Human body is composed by near 3.5 litres of blood (for adult).
Jesus poured all 3.5 litres of his blood; He had three nails hammered into his members; a crown of thorns on his head and, beyond that, a Roman soldier who nailed a spear into his chest.
All these without mentioning the humiliation He passed after carrying his own cross for almost 2 kilometres, while the crowd spat on his face and throwed stones (the cross was almost 30 kg of weight, only for its higher part, where his hands were nailed).
Jesus had to pass all this experience, so that you can have free access to God. So that your sins could be “washed”. All of them, with no exception! Don’t ignore this situation. HE DIED FOR YOU!. For you, who now read this in this site. Do not believe that He only died for others (those who go to the church or for pastors, bishops, etc).
He died for you! It is easy to pass jokes or foolish photos by e-mail, but when it comes to God, sometimes you feel ashamed to forward to others because you are worried on what they may think about your moral.
Accept the reality, the truth that JESUS IS THE ONLY SALVATION FOR THE WORLD..

Obama had taped interviews with relatives to flesh out his family history, and those "oral histories, along with a partial manuscript and a truckload of notes, were given to Ayers," writes Andersen.
The author quotes a neighbor in the Hyde Park area of Chicago where Obama and Ayers lived, who says of the two, "Everyone knew they were friends and that they worked on various projects together."
"It was no secret. Why would it be? People liked them both," the neighbor said, according to Andersen.
Andersen also has written "marriage portraits" of George and Laura Bush, Bill and Hillary Clinton, and John and Jackie Kennedy. Among his other books are "Somewhere in Heaven: The Remarkable Love Story of Dana and Christopher Reeve," "Barbra: The Way She Is," "Sweet Caroline: Last Child of Camelot" and "After Diana: William, Harry, Charles, and the Royal House of Windsor."
Andersen writes:
In the end, Ayers's contribution to Barack's "Dreams from My Father" would be significant – so much so that the book's language, oddly specific references, literary devices, and themes would bear a jarring similarity to Ayers's own writing.
Andersen concludes, "Thanks to help from the veteran writer Ayers, Barack would be able to submit a manuscript to his editors at Times Books."

Andersen relied on inside sources, quite possibly Michelle Obama, to describe how "Dreams" was published, Cashill says. Andersen cites Cashill as a source, but Cashill points out in a fresh WND column today that Andersen "clearly has access to inside information that I did not have."
"His level of detail on the mechanics of the transmission goes beyond anything that I could have discovered on my own," Cashill writes.
Cashill pointed out in a column last year that in contrast to "Dreams," the Obama writing samples unearthed before 1995 "are pedestrian and uninspired."
"There is no precedent for this kind of literary transformation," Cashill wrote. "It is as if a high 90s golfer suddenly showed up with his PGA card – with no known practice rounds in between."
The evidence Cashill had gathered to that point, he said, "severely tests Obama's claim of a superficial relationship with the self-declared 'communist' Ayers. This appears to be a conscious and consequential deception."
'That's a myth'
Cashill noted in a column in May this year that Ayers was confronted at a Baltimore book-signing by a Washington Times online editor with the question of his alleged role in Obama's book.
In the encounter, which was captured on video, the Times' Kerry Picket asked Ayers if he had received any feedback from Obama on Ayers' latest book, "Race Course: Against White Supremacy."
Ayers asked rhetorically, "Why would I?"
Picket then asked, "Considering that you may have had a collaboration with 'Dreams of My Father.'"
Ayers' body language changed abruptly. Turning away from Picket, he replied curtly, "I never had a collaboration, no."
"No?" she persisted.
"That's a myth," said Ayers, ending the conversation.
Literary cabal
In an interview last night with the Fox News Channel's Sean Hannity, Andersen was asked to comment on his assertion that Ayers helped Obama write "Dreams." Hannity pointed to Andersen's observation that "the literary devices and themes" of the book "bear a jarring similarity to Ayers own writings."
"They were good friends," Andersen affirmed, recalling that during the campaign Obama denied that fact.
"There was a literary cabal there in Chicago," Andersen continued. "They were all giving each other quotes, blurbs to promote their respective books."
Hannity concluded rhetorically: "So (Obama) lied to the American people."
Andersen appeared hesitant to concur, but conceded, "Well, you know, I think, well, let's face it, during that campaign I think he was doing some backpedaling, I'll be honest. And I think that, you know, Michelle probably recommended that he not emphasize the relationship with Ayers."
Forensic evidence
Last fall, Cashill commissioned an independent scientific comparative analysis of writings by Obama and Ayers to determine whether Ayers had a significant role in the writing of "Dreams."
Cashill reported at least four different stylometric analysts supported his extensive forensic evidence.
His experts included university professors from the U.S. and England in the statistical analysis of authorship, systems engineers, writers and Ph.D. literary analysts. Most, particularly professors at public universities, asked that their names not be revealed.
One analyst said it was possible Ayers served as a "book doctor," drastically rewriting work Obama already had done.
Game changer
Cashill conjectures that the apparent revelation of Ayers part in Obama's book would have changed the outcome of the 2008 election.
He recalls that Chris Matthews, host of MSNBC's "Hardball, mocked the Republicans' 2008 vice presidential candidate, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, for needing a collaborator for her book, because "she can't write."
Cashill comments in his column today that as "the Obama-as-Milli Vanilli story unfolds, Matthews and those willfully blind souls like him are in for a shock."
"To admit that Obama needed a collaborator would have undercut his campaign for president," Cashill says, "and to reveal the name of that collaborator would have ended it."

Which has occurred since your departure from the organization. I assume that you are going to stop the earmarks to ACORN and call for an investigation into this matter. I also believe you should call into the Oval Office James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles to give them an award like the Medal of Freedom for exposing this corruption and waste of tax dollars. Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council isn't surprised that President Obama is open to the idea of a newspaper bailout, but Perkins knows a bad idea when he hears one.
He led this week's edition of his "Washington Update" with a newspaper bailout blurb headlined "Bad News Bores." Perkins noted Obama's contempt for new media outlets but also emphasized why those outlets are so important:
While it is not unusual for a president to seek favors for a constituency that overwhelmingly supported him, such a bailout would bring into question the partiality of the "mainstream media" even more. The president spoke in fear of the "blogosphere" being "all opinions, with no serious fact-checking, no serious attempts to put stories in context."
First, it is always bad economic policy to reward outdated businesses that refuse to adapt. From Monica Lewinsky to Dan Rather it was the internet that broke the stories that "mainstream media" refused to. Additionally, it is online sources, including FRCAction's own Cloakroom blog, that are keeping the debate over health care honest and as transparent as possible.
Under such scrutiny, it is no wonder that other leading Democrats, including Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., are also looking for ways to use federal tax dollars to bailout newspaper conglomerates. The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees freedom of the press. It would be a shame if the media establishment gave away that freedom in exchange for a few coins.
Amen to that. But a few coins aren't going to salvage the traditional media's sinking reputation or deter the new media watchdogs who have been keeping them in check.

A Minneapolis couple decided to go to Florida to thaw out during a particularly icy winter. They planned to stay at the same hotel where they spent their honeymoon 20 years before.
Because of their hectic schedules, it was difficult to coordinate their travel schedules. So, the husband left Minneapolis and flew to Florida on Friday, and his wife was flying down the following day.
The husband checked into the hotel, and unlike years ago, there was a computer in his room, and he decided to send an email to his wife. However, he accidentally left out one letter in her E-mail address, and without noticing his error, sent the email to the wrong address.
Meanwhile ... Somewhere in Houston .... A widow had just returned home from her husband's funeral. He was a minister who was called home to glory after suffering a heart attack. The widow decided to check her E-mail, expecting
messages from relatives and friends..... After reading the first message, she screamed and then fainted. The widow's son rushed into the room, found his mother on the floor, and then glanced up and saw the computer screen which read:

Subject: I have arrived!
Dearest Love:
I know you are surprised to hear from me. They have computers here now, and you are allowed to send E-mail to your loved ones.

When I think of God's holiness, I am convicted by the sinful nature of my own being. We are all like a man wearing a beautiful white suit who was invited to go down into the depths of a coal mine. In the darkness of the mine, he was not aware that his suit was becoming soiled. But when he resurfaced into the dazzling light of the noonday sun, he was fully aware that his suit had become sooty and dirty. The light of God's holiness reveals the darkness of our sin.
Unfortunately, to a large degree, God's holiness has been ignored by modern Christianity because we are filled with the dead brush of sin and pride. Our unwillingness to acknowledge a holy God reflects our failure to recognize who God really is. The Hebrew root word for "to be holy" means to cut or to separate. The Old Testament reveals that God is above and separate from all that He created. He is exalted above everything in holy majesty.
We may also define holy as completely set apart from sin. Holiness reflects a flawless, unblemished purity. God does not just match a standard of purity---He is the standard.
I feel totally inadequate to describe this attribute of God. How can I, or any sinful human being, find the right words to explain how pure and high God is in His holiness? How can I describe something that is so far removed from my experience and nature?

Warfront With Jihadistan: Government Duties 101
As we have highlighted many times previously, the most basic duty of a government is to protect its citizens from enemies. It should come as no surprise, then, that treason-lobby leftists who don't "get" this fundamental tenet are simply kicking it to the curb.
In the first example, the Ninth Circus, er, Circuit Court of Appeals ruled this week that former Attorney General John Ashcroft can be sued for detaining people as material witnesses during 9/11 investigations. In the suit, Abdullah al-Kidd claimed his rights were violated when he was detained for two weeks in 2003. The good news is that to prevail, al-Kidd must show that Ashcroft was personally involved in crafting or executing an illegal policy, a very high bar. The bad news is al-Kidd will likely arm-twist the government into settling by threatening to compel release at trial of highly classified documents. In sanctioning the case, the Ninth Circuit has thrown the advantage to the enemy and national security under the bus.
In the second case, we get a glimpse into how political interests can affect national security. As we highlighted two weeks ago, Abdel Baset al-Megrahi, the mastermind behind the 1988 PanAm bombing in Lockerbie, Scotland, was released by the Scottish government, ostensibly because he is terminally ill. Facts have surfaced, however, that strongly suggest that the real reason behind the unrepentant Libyan terrorist's release was to secure lucrative oil and energy industry contracts for the UK-based corporate giant BP. Chief among this evidence are energy industry ties between the brother of the Scottish Justice Secretary who released the bomber and Libya. We also speculate that among primary indicators of concealed motives, data on how many other terminally ill convicted mass murderers have been released on humanitarian grounds under Scottish law would be very enlightening.
Common in these illustrations is a systemic disdain for an indispensable role of government, namely, the protection of its people. While legislators and bureaucrats rush to use the apparatus of the state for every conceivable purpose (universal health care is merely the latest effort in the statists' never-ending siege on freedom), they ignore a bedrock role of government.
As a potentially happy epilogue, an English court this week found three terrorists guilty of conspiring to kill thousands in 2006 by blowing up trans-Atlantic flights using explosive liquids carried aboard in soft drink containers. The subsequent ban on liquids carried aboard airliners continues to this day, thanks in large part to these three. However, since the three have no direct oil ties, they may actually have a chance of serving out their life sentences ... but we won't hold our breath.

In the original sense of the word "Christian," according to Acts 11:26, "the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch." So we are not actually a nation of "disciples" or followers of Jesus Christ. But we are a nation governed by laws based upon Biblical principles and founded on the righteousness of the Ten Commandments. There is nothing religious or uniquely Christian or Jewish about these, they are common sense. About 300 years earlier, Commandments 5-10 were revealed as hundreds of laws that Hammurabi used to regulate his pagan society in Babylon. And about 900 later this righteousness was revealed to Buddha as Step 4"Right Behavior" of his "8-Fold Path to Perfection."
We should have never allowed Muslims to encroach into our neighborhoods and begin replacing the responsible freedoms of our limited Constitutional Republic with their sharia law. ACORN filed suit against conservative site Breitbart.com in Maryland Wednesday.
ACORN filed suit today in Maryland against conservative filmmakers James O’Keefe, Hannah Giles and conservative Web site Breitbart.com for secretly taping the organization’s employees at its Baltimore office.
In the complaint, ACORN alleges that the filmmakers entered into the organization’s offices in July with a “hidden camera and microphone” and taped employees Tonja Thompson and Shera Williams. Both employees are listed as plaintiffs on the complaint, filed in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.
The crux of the lawsuit centers around a Maryland law which makes it illegal to tape someone without their consent – ACORN is alleging O’Keefe and Giles did so. ACORN is asking for $500,000 in damages to be awarded to each of the employees filmed by O'Keefe and Giles, and ACORN itself wants $1 million in damages.
Breitbart.com, one of the suit’s defendants, is run by conservative activist Andrew Breitbart, whose Web site BigGovernment.com first posted most of O’Keefe and Giles’ videos. Breitbart has appeared on television with the filmmaking duo, and has a content-sharing relationship with the Drudge Report.

Hmmm: Is the AARP getting “kickbacks” from Obamacare?

AARP members who are still wondering why their leaders in Washington want to sell them out on Obamacare, pay attention.
The GOP has uncovered one very lucrative possibility: Kickbacks.
Here’s the deal:
This week the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced it was investigating Humana for providing “misleading” information regarding the Administration’s proposed cuts to Medicare Advantage policies-and prohibited other Medicare Advantage plans from providing similar information on how Democrat health “reform” could take away their current coverage.
Yet the Administration’s edict prohibiting plans from communicating with their beneficiaries failed to include AARP, which sponsors a Medicare Advantage plan but has been a prime advocate of Democrats’ government takeover of health care-quite possibly because AARP has been supporting a health care overhaul from which it stands to gain overall handsomely. Even as AARP advocates for cutting Medicare Advantage plans by more than $150 billion, an analysis of the organization’s operations reveals that it stands to receive tens of millions of dollars at the expense of seniors’ medical care-with Democrats’ full approval:
* The Congressional Budget Office has previously estimated that the cuts to Medicare Advantage plans proposed in Democrats’ government takeover of health care (H.R. 3200) would cause millions of seniors to lose their current plan and enroll in government-run Medicare.
* Because the government-run Medicare benefit is less generous than most private health plans, the independent Medicare Payment Advisory Commission found in June that more than nine in ten seniors not in nursing home settings utilize some form of Medicare supplemental insurance. While many of these individuals currently rely on Medicare Advantage plans for the extra benefits they provide to seniors, many would be forced to purchase supplemental Medigap policies should their existing Medicare Advantage plans be taken away from them due to Democrats’ government takeover of health care.
* A review of its financial statements finds that in 2008, AARP received more than half a billion dollars in revenue from selling products like Medigap supplemental insurance policies-$652.7 million in direct “royalties and fees,” and an increase of more than 31 percent from the $497.6 million in similar revenue AARP generated in 2007.
* Royalty revenues now comprise more than half-60.3 percent-of all AARP revenues; a Bloomberg news analysis published in December found that in 1999, royalties comprised only 11 percent of the organization’s total revenues.
* The Bloomberg article-which highlighted what one observer called AARP’s “dirty little secret”-profiled seniors who felt betrayed after paying hundreds of dollars above market price for AARP-branded coverage. One noted that “AARP has great buying power, and people should be able to get the best deal….This is unconscionable, what AARP has allowed to happen.” Another disillusioned senior wrote to the organization’s leadership asking whether AARP had a “‘special relationship’ with [insurance carriers] by which it receives commissions, incentives, rebates, or dare I say ‘kickbacks?’”-and when he arrived at AARP headquarters for a tour, was promptly escorted out of the marble-covered atrium.
* While H.R. 3200 would place strict price controls on Medicare Advantage plans-requiring them to pay out 85 percent of premium revenues in medical claims-Medigap policies face a far less strict 65 percent requirement. In other words, under the Democrat bill, seniors could pay as much as 20 cents more out of every premium dollar to fund “kickbacks” to AARP-sponsored Medigap plans than Medicare Advantage plans.
The higher prices charged by AARP plans, and the organization’s increasing dependence upon revenue from “royalties,” provide tangible evidence why AARP would support cuts to Medicare Advantage that would likely increase their “kickbacks” from Medigap plans.
A Hill source summed it up for me this way: “AARP has endorsed a huge reduction in funding of Medicare Advantage, which touches over 10 million middle-lower income seniors. If Medicare Advantage funding is reduced, and seniors are forced out of the program, they become potential buyers of the heavily-promoted and very profitable Medicare Supplement program sponsored by AARP (MediGap is 70% of AARP’s annual income). Medicare Supplement is a huge source of revenue to AARP. At a minimum, AARP should be required to disclose this every time they discuss Medicare Advantage. Medicare Advantage plans are making important contributions to the Medicare program. These plans focus on prevention and offer disease management programs for beneficiaries with chronic diseases. This focus on chronic diseases is not seen anywhere in MediGap. New research demonstrates that Medicare Advantage plans have reduced unnecessary hospitalizations and readmission rates for beneficiaries with diabetes and heart disease. By reducing the need for hospitalization and emergency room care, private plans are not only improving the health and well-being of Medicare beneficiaries – but also achieving greater efficiencies and cost savings. The House proposal (supported by AARP) would disproportionately affect beneficiaries in rural counties and areas where fee-for-service expenditures are relatively low. The current provisions in the bill would result in reductions in Medicare Advantage funding by more than 20 percent in many of these areas and likely limit seniors access to coordinated care through the Medicare Advantage program. The areas that are impacted the most by the bill are the same geographic areas where Congress has acted twice since 1997 to establish payment floors for private plan options in recognition of the inadequacy of existing FFS rates as the basis for Medicare Advantage payments.”

You have nationwide allegations of voter fraud, Black Panthers intimidating voters at the polling places, and foreigners donating untold sums of money to Obama and other democrats. If the margin of victory had been greater than 2.5%, maybe this would only be important in the sense that laws were broken. However, with a margin that close the legitimacy of Obama’s “victory” can legitimately be questioned. He only won by about a half percent more than Bush did, yet the liberals are calling Obama’s win a “landslide.” Where are the cries of “stolen election” now? In the past three elections, nearly all of the voter fraud has been associated with democratic candidates. Why do you suppose that is? Now you have Mr.. Community Organizer trying to cover his tracks and his associations with many of these left wing groups committing illegal activities. Did you see his interview with George Snuffleupagus this weekend? Snuffy at least asked him about ACORN receiving federal funds and whether or not he thought the government should cut them off. Obama lied YET AGAIN when he said he didn’t know that ACORN had received federal funds. Obama was a paid lawyer for ACORN, basically had a hand in its foundation, litigated on their behalf in several matters involving federals funds, and OBTW they’ve been taking federal money for nearly fifteen years. To quote Joe Wilson, “You lie!” Mr. Obama. Then he dodged yet again saying that he wasn’t paying attention to the topic as it wasn’t the most important thing going on right now. Mr. Snuffleupagus, along with all other members of fringe group formerly known as the mainstream media, just let him go and did not pursue him any further. These same “reporters” would have, and sometimes did call Bush a liar to his face, and then they would go on the attack. Media bias, anyone? And they wonder why they can’t sell news papers anymore, and their TV/Cable ratings have gone down the toilet. Is it any wonder that FOX News beats all of the other outlets COMBINED by 5 to 1?
U.S. charges Obama fund-raiser in $290 million fraud

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Hassan Nemazee, a fund-raiser for Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and other Democrats, has been indicted for defrauding Bank of America, HSBC and Citigroup Inc out of more than $290 million in loan proceeds, U.S. prosecutors said on Monday.
The announcement follows last month's indictment of Nemazee, head of a private equity firm and an Iranian American Political Action Committee board member, on one count of defrauding Citigroup's Citibank.
The new indictment adds allegations that he defrauded two other banks, Bank of America and HSBC Bank USA, in a similar fashion by falsifying documents and signatures to purportedly show he had hundreds of millions worth of collateral.
The office of the U.S. Attorney in Manhattan and the FBI said he used the proceeds of his scheme to make donations to election campaigns of federal, state and local candidates, donations to political action committees and charities.
He bought property in Italy and paid for maintenance on two properties in New York.
His lawyer could not immediately be reached for comment.
As of August 2009 Nemazee owed Bank of America about $142 million and owed Citibank about $74.9 million, the indictment said. He drew on a line of credit he fraudulently obtained from HSBC to pay the Citibank loan.
Nemazee, 59, typically donates more than $100,000 annually to Democratic political candidates. He is listed as one of the top "bundlers" of contributions to Obama's 2008 presidential campaign, according to OpenSecrets.org, a website run by the Center for Responsive Politics research group.
"For more than 10 years, Hassan Nemazee projected the illusion of wealth, stealing more than $290 million so that he could lead a lavish lifestyle and play the part of heavyweight political fundraiser," United States Attorney Preet Bharara in Manhattan said in a statement.
Nemazee was arrested at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey on August 23 as he was checking in for a flight to Italy, according to court papers. He was released on bail.
If convicted on three counts of bank fraud, Nemazee faces up to 30 years in prison and millions of dollars in fines. He is also charged with identity theft.

True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.
Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.
First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish.
Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.
The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.
These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them?
These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another. They are also usurping the rights, duties and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, congress has put up little more then a whimper to their masters.
Then came Barack Obama's command that GM's (General Motor) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of "pure" free markets, the American president now has the power, the self given power, to fire CEOs and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions.
So it should be no surprise, that the American president has followed this up with a "bold" move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies. I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and redesign it for the whole of the world, too. Prime Minister Putin, less then two months ago, warned Obama and UK's Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our "wise" Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride.
Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper...but a "freeman" whimper.
So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set "fair" maximum salaries, evaluate performance and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Franks, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive.
The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this and the option of closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible. In other words, divest while there is still value left.
The proud American will go down into his slavery with out a fight, beating his chest and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker.

This Max Baucus bill might want to be re titled as the Max Bogus bill. Pro-lifers ain't digging it. Expect the abortion dialogue to just keep getting louder and louder. A fight over abortion language is the last thing The White House needs. The administration would make a mistake if they think the pushback on abortion is just coming from conservative pro-life groups. If they don’t address the abortion language in both the Senate and House bills, this could come back to bite them with Independents and Catholic voters who were important to Barack Obama’s efforts to win The White House in the first place.
Health Care reform will probably get done but in what form exactly? The White House will need to put out fires on abortion, illegal immigration, the public option, co-ops, and cost containment. There’s going to be so much “kvetching” before this thing is over. (That “Kvetch” reference is my Yiddish salute to Rosh Hashanah since I will be celebrating it this weekend with family in NYC. Look up what “Kvetch” means here.)

"Senator Baucus' new health care bill puts to rest the President's claim that 'abortion is not included' in the Senate health care bill. The Baucus plan includes abortion, pure and simple. Like the Capps abortion amendment in the House bill, the Baucus plan would subsidize health plans that cover elective abortions but with tax credits. The accounting used in the bill is a matter of smoke and mirrors, since elective abortion is authorized for health plans receiving government subsidies.
"The Baucus bill goes even farther by mandating that there be at least one health plan in each region across the country which covers elective abortions. Such a government mandate of abortion-covered plans in each state exchange and subsidizing such plans does little to prevent 'federal funding of abortion' as President Obama said last week. Moreover, the Baucus bill would spend $6 billion to establish health care co-ops and this funding could be used for elective abortion because it is not subject to the Hyde Amendment appropriations provision.
"If President Obama is serious about preventing funding for abortion in health care reform, he should immediately support adoption of Democrat Rep. Bart Stupak's amendment to exclude abortion from all health care reform legislation. Democrat Senator Bob Casey voted for such an amendment in the Senate Health Committee.
"It's time for President Obama to stop the smoke and mirrors on abortion and health care and straightforwardly tell Congress to permanently exclude abortion coverage."

The "America's Healthy Future Act," proposed today by Senator Max Baucus (D-Mt.), contains an array of pro-abortion mandates and federal subsidies for elective abortion. National Right to Life strongly opposes the legislation in its current form. We will work in support of amendments to eliminate the abortion mandates and federal abortion subsidies.
The bill contains provisions that would send massive federal subsidies directly to both private insurance plans and government-chartered cooperatives that pay for elective abortion. This would be a drastic break from longstanding federal policy, under which federal funds do not pay for elective abortions or subsidize health plans that cover elective abortions. For example, current law prohibits any of the over 250 private health plans that participate in the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) program from paying for elective abortions, because these plans receive federal subsidies. These private plans cover over 8 million federal employees and dependents, including members of Congress.
Thus, under the Baucus bill, like the House Democratic leadership bill (H.R. 3200), federal funds would subsidize coverage of elective abortions. In addition, the Baucus bill requires that a specific charge must be included in the premiums paid by those who enroll in such subsidized plans, of at least "$1 per enrollee, per month," which amounts to a surcharge specifically for elective abortions.
These bills are not consistent with President Obama's September 9 claim that "no federal dollars will be used to fund abortions," or with Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius's September 13 affirmation that "no public funds would go to fund abortions." Funds spent by federal agencies are, by law, federal funds. The claim that under these bills, a federal agency would use "private funds" to subsidize abortions is absurd on its face -- a political hoax.
In addition, the Baucus bill provides $6 billion in federal funds for the establishment of health insurance cooperatives, without any limitation on the use of these funds to pay for abortions or to subsidize plans that pay for elective abortions.
In addition, the Baucus bill contains language that would allow the federal government to declare abortion to be a "mandated benefit as part of a minimum benefits package" in any circumstances in which the federal Medicaid program could pay for an abortion. Currently, the federal Medicaid program pays for abortion only in three limited circumstances: to save the life of the mother, or in cases of rape or incest. But that limitation depends on language, the Hyde Amendment, that expires every September 30, and that must be renewed annually as part of the Health and Human Services appropriations bill. Under the Baucus language, if one house of Congress, and/or the President, blocked renewal of the Hyde Amendment, many private insurance plans could be forced to include abortion on demand as a mandatory benefit in the minimum benefits package. This would be another major departure from the status quo. (Currently, only 13 percent of all abortions are billed directly to private insurance, according to the Guttmacher Institute.)

In Florida, an atheist created a case against the upcoming Easter and Passover Holy days. He hired an attorney to bring a discrimination case against Christians, Jews and observances of their holy days. The argument was that it was unfair that atheists had no such recognized days.
The case was brought before a judge. After listening to the passionate presentation by the lawyer, the judge banged his gavel declaring, "Case dismissed!"
The lawyer immediately stood objecting to the ruling saying, "Your honor, how can you possibly dismiss this case? The Christians have Christmas, Easter and others.. The Jews have Passover, Yom Kippur and Hanukkah, yet my Client and all other atheists have no such holidays."
The judge leaned forward in his chair saying, "But you do. Your client, counsel, is woefully ignorant."
The lawyer said, "Your Honor, we are unaware of any special observance or holiday for atheists."
The judge said, "The calendar says April 1st is April Fools’ Day. Psalm 14:1 states, 'The fool says in his heart, there is no God.' Thus, it is the opinion of this court, that if your client says there is no God, then he is a fool. Therefore, April 1st is his day. Court is adjourned.

When I think of God's holiness, I am convicted by the sinful nature of my own being. We are all like a man wearing a beautiful white suit who was invited to go down into the depths of a coal mine. In the darkness of the mine, he was not aware that his suit was becoming soiled. But when he resurfaced into the dazzling light of the noonday sun, he was fully aware that his suit had become sooty and dirty. The light of God's holiness reveals the darkness of our sin.
Unfortunately, to a large degree, God's holiness has been ignored by modern Christianity because we are filled with the dead brush of sin and pride. Our unwillingness to acknowledge a holy God reflects our failure to recognize who God really is. The Hebrew root word for "to be holy" means to cut or to separate. The Old Testament reveals that God is above and separate from all that He created. He is exalted above everything in holy majesty.
We may also define holy as completely set apart from sin. Holiness reflects a flawless, unblemished purity. God does not just match a standard of purity---He is the standard.
I feel totally inadequate to describe this attribute of God. How can I, or any sinful human being, find the right words to explain how pure and high God is in His holiness? How can I describe something that is so far removed from my experience and nature?

Warfront With Jihadistan: Government Duties 101
As we have highlighted many times previously, the most basic duty of a government is to protect its citizens from enemies. It should come as no surprise, then, that treason-lobby leftists who don't "get" this fundamental tenet are simply kicking it to the curb.
In the first example, the Ninth Circus, er, Circuit Court of Appeals ruled this week that former Attorney General John Ashcroft can be sued for detaining people as material witnesses during 9/11 investigations. In the suit, Abdullah al-Kidd claimed his rights were violated when he was detained for two weeks in 2003. The good news is that to prevail, al-Kidd must show that Ashcroft was personally involved in crafting or executing an illegal policy, a very high bar. The bad news is al-Kidd will likely arm-twist the government into settling by threatening to compel release at trial of highly classified documents. In sanctioning the case, the Ninth Circuit has thrown the advantage to the enemy and national security under the bus.
In the second case, we get a glimpse into how political interests can affect national security. As we highlighted two weeks ago, Abdel Baset al-Megrahi, the mastermind behind the 1988 PanAm bombing in Lockerbie, Scotland, was released by the Scottish government, ostensibly because he is terminally ill. Facts have surfaced, however, that strongly suggest that the real reason behind the unrepentant Libyan terrorist's release was to secure lucrative oil and energy industry contracts for the UK-based corporate giant BP. Chief among this evidence are energy industry ties between the brother of the Scottish Justice Secretary who released the bomber and Libya. We also speculate that among primary indicators of concealed motives, data on how many other terminally ill convicted mass murderers have been released on humanitarian grounds under Scottish law would be very enlightening.
Common in these illustrations is a systemic disdain for an indispensable role of government, namely, the protection of its people. While legislators and bureaucrats rush to use the apparatus of the state for every conceivable purpose (universal health care is merely the latest effort in the statists' never-ending siege on freedom), they ignore a bedrock role of government.
As a potentially happy epilogue, an English court this week found three terrorists guilty of conspiring to kill thousands in 2006 by blowing up trans-Atlantic flights using explosive liquids carried aboard in soft drink containers. The subsequent ban on liquids carried aboard airliners continues to this day, thanks in large part to these three. However, since the three have no direct oil ties, they may actually have a chance of serving out their life sentences ... but we won't hold our breath.

In the original sense of the word "Christian," according to Acts 11:26, "the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch." So we are not actually a nation of "disciples" or followers of Jesus Christ. But we are a nation governed by laws based upon Biblical principles and founded on the righteousness of the Ten Commandments. There is nothing religious or uniquely Christian or Jewish about these, they are common sense. About 300 years earlier, Commandments 5-10 were revealed as hundreds of laws that Hammurabi used to regulate his pagan society in Babylon. ACORN filed suit against conservative site Breitbart.com in Maryland Wednesday.
ACORN filed suit today in Maryland against conservative filmmakers James O’Keefe, Hannah Giles and conservative Web site Breitbart.com for secretly taping the organization’s employees at its Baltimore office.
In the complaint, ACORN alleges that the filmmakers entered into the organization’s offices in July with a “hidden camera and microphone” and taped employees Tonja Thompson and Shera Williams. Both employees are listed as plaintiffs on the complaint, filed in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.
The crux of the lawsuit centers around a Maryland law which makes it illegal to tape someone without their consent – ACORN is alleging O’Keefe and Giles did so. ACORN is asking for $500,000 in damages to be awarded to each of the employees filmed by O'Keefe and Giles, and ACORN itself wants $1 million in damages.
Breitbart.com, one of the suit’s defendants, is run by conservative activist Andrew Breitbart, whose Web site BigGovernment.com first posted most of O’Keefe and Giles’ videos. Breitbart has appeared on television with the filmmaking duo, and has a content-sharing relationship with the Drudge Report.

Hmmm: Is the AARP getting “kickbacks” from Obamacare?

AARP members who are still wondering why their leaders in Washington want to sell them out on Obamacare, pay attention.
The GOP has uncovered one very lucrative possibility: Kickbacks.
Here’s the deal:
This week the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced it was investigating Humana for providing “misleading” information regarding the Administration’s proposed cuts to Medicare Advantage policies-and prohibited other Medicare Advantage plans from providing similar information on how Democrat health “reform” could take away their current coverage.
Yet the Administration’s edict prohibiting plans from communicating with their beneficiaries failed to include AARP, which sponsors a Medicare Advantage plan but has been a prime advocate of Democrats’ government takeover of health care-quite possibly because AARP has been supporting a health care overhaul from which it stands to gain overall handsomely. Even as AARP advocates for cutting Medicare Advantage plans by more than $150 billion, an analysis of the organization’s operations reveals that it stands to receive tens of millions of dollars at the expense of seniors’ medical care-with Democrats’ full approval:
* The Congressional Budget Office has previously estimated that the cuts to Medicare Advantage plans proposed in Democrats’ government takeover of health care (H.R. 3200) would cause millions of seniors to lose their current plan and enroll in government-run Medicare.
* Because the government-run Medicare benefit is less generous than most private health plans, the independent Medicare Payment Advisory Commission found in June that more than nine in ten seniors not in nursing home settings utilize some form of Medicare supplemental insurance. While many of these individuals currently rely on Medicare Advantage plans for the extra benefits they provide to seniors, many would be forced to purchase supplemental Medigap policies should their existing Medicare Advantage plans be taken away from them due to Democrats’ government takeover of health care.
* A review of its financial statements finds that in 2008, AARP received more than half a billion dollars in revenue from selling products like Medigap supplemental insurance policies-$652.7 million in direct “royalties and fees,” and an increase of more than 31 percent from the $497.6 million in similar revenue AARP generated in 2007.
* Royalty revenues now comprise more than half-60.3 percent-of all AARP revenues; a Bloomberg news analysis published in December found that in 1999, royalties comprised only 11 percent of the organization’s total revenues.
* The Bloomberg article-which highlighted what one observer called AARP’s “dirty little secret”-profiled seniors who felt betrayed after paying hundreds of dollars above market price for AARP-branded coverage. One noted that “AARP has great buying power, and people should be able to get the best deal….This is unconscionable, what AARP has allowed to happen.” Another disillusioned senior wrote to the organization’s leadership asking whether AARP had a “‘special relationship’ with [insurance carriers] by which it receives commissions, incentives, rebates, or dare I say ‘kickbacks?’”-and when he arrived at AARP headquarters for a tour, was promptly escorted out of the marble-covered atrium.
* While H.R. 3200 would place strict price controls on Medicare Advantage plans-requiring them to pay out 85 percent of premium revenues in medical claims-Medigap policies face a far less strict 65 percent requirement. In other words, under the Democrat bill, seniors could pay as much as 20 cents more out of every premium dollar to fund “kickbacks” to AARP-sponsored Medigap plans than Medicare Advantage plans.
The higher prices charged by AARP plans, and the organization’s increasing dependence upon revenue from “royalties,” provide tangible evidence why AARP would support cuts to Medicare Advantage that would likely increase their “kickbacks” from Medigap plans.
A Hill source summed it up for me this way: “AARP has endorsed a huge reduction in funding of Medicare Advantage, which touches over 10 million middle-lower income seniors. If Medicare Advantage funding is reduced, and seniors are forced out of the program, they become potential buyers of the heavily-promoted and very profitable Medicare Supplement program sponsored by AARP (MediGap is 70% of AARP’s annual income). Medicare Supplement is a huge source of revenue to AARP. At a minimum, AARP should be required to disclose this every time they discuss Medicare Advantage. Medicare Advantage plans are making important contributions to the Medicare program. These plans focus on prevention and offer disease management programs for beneficiaries with chronic diseases. This focus on chronic diseases is not seen anywhere in MediGap. New research demonstrates that Medicare Advantage plans have reduced unnecessary hospitalizations and readmission rates for beneficiaries with diabetes and heart disease. By reducing the need for hospitalization and emergency room care, private plans are not only improving the health and well-being of Medicare beneficiaries – but also achieving greater efficiencies and cost savings. The House proposal (supported by AARP) would disproportionately affect beneficiaries in rural counties and areas where fee-for-service expenditures are relatively low. The current provisions in the bill would result in reductions in Medicare Advantage funding by more than 20 percent in many of these areas and likely limit seniors access to coordinated care through the Medicare Advantage program. The areas that are impacted the most by the bill are the same geographic areas where Congress has acted twice since 1997 to establish payment floors for private plan options in recognition of the inadequacy of existing FFS rates as the basis for Medicare Advantage payments.”
Philip Klein at the American Spectator asked the AARP for comment — and received an evasive statement decrying “scare tractics” in response.

If the margin of victory had been greater than 2.5%, maybe this would only be important in the sense that laws were broken. However, with a margin that close the legitimacy of Obama’s “victory” can legitimately be questioned. He only won by about a half percent more than Bush did, yet the liberals are calling Obama’s win a “landslide.” Where are the cries of “stolen election” now? In the past three elections, nearly all of the voter fraud has been associated with democratic candidates. Why do you suppose that is? Now you have Mr.. Community Organizer trying to cover his tracks and his associations with many of these left wing groups committing illegal activities. Did you see his interview with George Snuffleupagus this weekend? Snuffy at least asked him about ACORN receiving federal funds and whether or not he thought the government should cut them off. Obama lied YET AGAIN when he said he didn’t know that ACORN had received federal funds. Obama was a paid lawyer for ACORN, basically had a hand in its foundation, litigated on their behalf in several matters involving federals funds, and OBTW they’ve been taking federal money for nearly fifteen years. To quote Joe Wilson, “You lie!” Mr. Obama. Then he dodged yet again saying that he wasn’t paying attention to the topic as it wasn’t the most important thing going on right now. Mr. Snuffleupagus, along with all other members of fringe group formerly known as the mainstream media, just let him go and did not pursue him any further. These same “reporters” would have, and sometimes did call Bush a liar to his face, and then they would go on the attack. Media bias, anyone? And they wonder why they can’t sell news papers anymore, and their TV/Cable ratings have gone down the toilet. Is it any wonder that FOX News beats all of the other outlets COMBINED by 5 to 1?
U.S. charges Obama fund-raiser in $290 million fraud

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Hassan Nemazee, a fund-raiser for Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and other Democrats, has been indicted for defrauding Bank of America, HSBC and Citigroup Inc out of more than $290 million in loan proceeds, U.S. prosecutors said on Monday.
The announcement follows last month's indictment of Nemazee, head of a private equity firm and an Iranian American Political Action Committee board member, on one count of defrauding Citigroup's Citibank.
The new indictment adds allegations that he defrauded two other banks, Bank of America and HSBC Bank USA, in a similar fashion by falsifying documents and signatures to purportedly show he had hundreds of millions worth of collateral.
The office of the U.S. Attorney in Manhattan and the FBI said he used the proceeds of his scheme to make donations to election campaigns of federal, state and local candidates, donations to political action committees and charities.
He bought property in Italy and paid for maintenance on two properties in New York.
His lawyer could not immediately be reached for comment.
As of August 2009 Nemazee owed Bank of America about $142 million and owed Citibank about $74.9 million, the indictment said. He drew on a line of credit he fraudulently obtained from HSBC to pay the Citibank loan.
Nemazee, 59, typically donates more than $100,000 annually to Democratic political candidates. He is listed as one of the top "bundlers" of contributions to Obama's 2008 presidential campaign, according to OpenSecrets.org, a website run by the Center for Responsive Politics research group.
"For more than 10 years, Hassan Nemazee projected the illusion of wealth, stealing more than $290 million so that he could lead a lavish lifestyle and play the part of heavyweight political fundraiser," United States Attorney Preet Bharara in Manhattan said in a statement.
Nemazee was arrested at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey on August 23 as he was checking in for a flight to Italy, according to court papers. He was released on bail.
If convicted on three counts of bank fraud, Nemazee faces up to 30 years in prison and millions of dollars in fines. He is also charged with identity theft.

True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.
Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.
First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish.
Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.
The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.
These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them?
These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another. They are also usurping the rights, duties and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, congress has put up little more then a whimper to their masters.
Then came Barack Obama's command that GM's (General Motor) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of "pure" free markets, the American president now has the power, the self given power, to fire CEOs and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions.
So it should be no surprise, that the American president has followed this up with a "bold" move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies. I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and redesign it for the whole of the world, too. Prime Minister Putin, less then two months ago, warned Obama and UK's Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our "wise" Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride.
Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper...but a "freeman" whimper.
So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set "fair" maximum salaries, evaluate performance and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Franks, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive.
The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this and the option of closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible. In other words, divest while there is still value left.
The proud American will go down into his slavery with out a fight, beating his chest and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker.

This Max Baucus bill might want to be re titled as the Max Bogus bill. Pro-lifers ain't digging it. Expect the abortion dialogue to just keep getting louder and louder. A fight over abortion language is the last thing The White House needs. The administration would make a mistake if they think the pushback on abortion is just coming from conservative pro-life groups. If they don’t address the abortion language in both the Senate and House bills, this could come back to bite them with Independents and Catholic voters who were important to Barack Obama’s efforts to win The White House in the first place.
Health Care reform will probably get done but in what form exactly? The White House will need to put out fires on abortion, illegal immigration, the public option, co-ops, and cost containment. There’s going to be so much “kvetching” before this thing is over. (That “Kvetch” reference is my Yiddish salute to Rosh Hashanah since I will be celebrating it this weekend with family in NYC. Look up what “Kvetch” means here.)

"Senator Baucus' new health care bill puts to rest the President's claim that 'abortion is not included' in the Senate health care bill. The Baucus plan includes abortion, pure and simple. Like the Capps abortion amendment in the House bill, the Baucus plan would subsidize health plans that cover elective abortions but with tax credits. The accounting used in the bill is a matter of smoke and mirrors, since elective abortion is authorized for health plans receiving government subsidies.
"The Baucus bill goes even farther by mandating that there be at least one health plan in each region across the country which covers elective abortions. Such a government mandate of abortion-covered plans in each state exchange and subsidizing such plans does little to prevent 'federal funding of abortion' as President Obama said last week. Moreover, the Baucus bill would spend $6 billion to establish health care co-ops and this funding could be used for elective abortion because it is not subject to the Hyde Amendment appropriations provision.
"If President Obama is serious about preventing funding for abortion in health care reform, he should immediately support adoption of Democrat Rep. Bart Stupak's amendment to exclude abortion from all health care reform legislation. Democrat Senator Bob Casey voted for such an amendment in the Senate Health Committee.
"It's time for President Obama to stop the smoke and mirrors on abortion and health care and straightforwardly tell Congress to permanently exclude abortion coverage."
Douglas Johnson, National Right to Life
The "America's Healthy Future Act," proposed today by Senator Max Baucus (D-Mt.), contains an array of pro-abortion mandates and federal subsidies for elective abortion. National Right to Life strongly opposes the legislation in its current form. We will work in support of amendments to eliminate the abortion mandates and federal abortion subsidies.
The bill contains provisions that would send massive federal subsidies directly to both private insurance plans and government-chartered cooperatives that pay for elective abortion. This would be a drastic break from longstanding federal policy, under which federal funds do not pay for elective abortions or subsidize health plans that cover elective abortions. For example, current law prohibits any of the over 250 private health plans that participate in the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) program from paying for elective abortions, because these plans receive federal subsidies. These private plans cover over 8 million federal employees and dependents, including members of Congress.
Thus, under the Baucus bill, like the House Democratic leadership bill (H.R. 3200), federal funds would subsidize coverage of elective abortions. In addition, the Baucus bill requires that a specific charge must be included in the premiums paid by those who enroll in such subsidized plans, of at least "$1 per enrollee, per month," which amounts to a surcharge specifically for elective abortions.
These bills are not consistent with President Obama's September 9 claim that "no federal dollars will be used to fund abortions," or with Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius's September 13 affirmation that "no public funds would go to fund abortions." Funds spent by federal agencies are, by law, federal funds. The claim that under these bills, a federal agency would use "private funds" to subsidize abortions is absurd on its face -- a political hoax.
In addition, the Baucus bill provides $6 billion in federal funds for the establishment of health insurance cooperatives, without any limitation on the use of these funds to pay for abortions or to subsidize plans that pay for elective abortions.
In addition, the Baucus bill contains language that would allow the federal government to declare abortion to be a "mandated benefit as part of a minimum benefits package" in any circumstances in which the federal Medicaid program could pay for an abortion. Currently, the federal Medicaid program pays for abortion only in three limited circumstances: to save the life of the mother, or in cases of rape or incest. But that limitation depends on language, the Hyde Amendment, that expires every September 30, and that must be renewed annually as part of the Health and Human Services appropriations bill. Under the Baucus language, if one house of Congress, and/or the President, blocked renewal of the Hyde Amendment, many private insurance plans could be forced to include abortion on demand as a mandatory benefit in the minimum benefits package. This would be another major departure from the status quo. (Currently, only 13 percent of all abortions are billed directly to private insurance, according to the Guttmacher Institute.)

Sharon Jasper has spent 57 of her 58 years dedicated to one cause and one cause only, and has nothing to show for her dedicated servitude. She has lived in Section 8housing all but 1 of her 58 years. It was a legacy passed down from her parents who moved into Section 8 housing in 1949 when she was six months old. She has passed the legacy down to her children, but fears they may have to get jobs to pay for the utilities and deposits.
She laments about her one year hiatus from the comfort of her Section 8 nirvana, ' I tried it for a year -- you know, working and all. It's not anything I would want to go through again, or wish on anyone in my family, but I am damn proud of that year.'
Sharon was moved out of her St. Bernard housing project after hurricane Katrina and into a new, yet albeit, substandard quarter age. As can be noted from the above photo of her new Section 8 home, it is repugnant and not suitable for someone of Sharon Jasper's seniority status in the system. 'Don't be fooled by them hardwood floors,' says Sharon . 'They told me they were putting in scraped wood floors cause it was more expensive and elegant, but I am not a fool -- that was just a way to make me take scratched up wood because I am black. The 60 inch HD TV? It may look nice but it is not a plasma. It's not a plasma because I'm black. Now they want me to pay a deposit and utilities on this dump.' 'Do you know why?'

When a near riotous exchange between groups opposing the tearing down of St. Bernard and groups wanting the dilapidated buildings torn down and newer ones built, Sharon unleashed verbal hell with her once silenced tongue. The object of her oratory prowess was an acquiescent poor white boy in attendance. The context of her scathing rebuke was, 'Just because you pay for my house, my car, my big screen and my food, I will not be treated like a slave!' and 'Back up and Shut up! Shut up, white boy! Shut up, white boy!'
Recapping from the mental log of the city council minutes in her head, Sharon repines, 'Our families have been displaced all over the United States. They are being forced to commit crimes in cities they are unfamiliar with. It is a very uncomfortable situation for them. Bring them back, then let's talk about redevelopment.' Sharon directs the reporter's attention across the street to Duncan Plaza where homeless people are living in tents and states that, 'I might do better out there with one of these tents.' She further lamented her sentiments about her situation, 'I might be poor, but I don't have to live poor.'

In Florida, an atheist created a case against the upcoming Easter and Passover Holy days. He hired an attorney to bring a discrimination case against Christians, Jews and observances of their holy days. The argument was that it was unfair that atheists had no such recognized days.
The case was brought before a judge. After listening to the passionate presentation by the lawyer, the judge banged his gavel declaring, "Case dismissed!"
The lawyer immediately stood objecting to the ruling saying, "Your honor, how can you possibly dismiss this case? The Christians have Christmas, Easter and others.. The Jews have Passover, Yom Kippur and Hanukkah, yet my Client and all other atheists have no such holidays."
The judge leaned forward in his chair saying, "But you do. Your client, counsel, is woefully ignorant."
The lawyer said, "Your Honor, we are unaware of any special observance or holiday for atheists."
The judge said, "The calendar says April 1st is April Fools’ Day. Psalm 14:1 states, 'The fool says in his heart, there is no God.' Thus, it is the opinion of this court, that if your client says there is no God, then he is a fool. Therefore, April 1st is his day. Court is adjourned.

Like a scene straight out of a sports car commercial, you're driving along a winding road in the dead of night, the eerie glow from your headlights meeting the narrow asphalt, when suddenly, two green eyes flash in the darkness ahead – and a deer steps onto the roadway.
Unlike the television ad when the driver swerves wildly around the animal and then speeds off carelessly into the blackness, encountering a deer while you're on the road can be dangerous and scary. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), large animal-vehicle collisions resulted in an average of 187fatalities in recent years.
So, what can you do to stay safe during deer season?
Read on to learn the latest statistics and a few tips for making your drive through deer country as safe as possible.
Deer Statistics
Dawn and dusk are the times you are most likely to encounter deer along the roadside.
Deer breeding season runs from October through early January, and during this time they are highly active and on the move. This is when deer-vehicle collisions are at their peak.
Though deer may wander into suburban neighborhoods, they are most frequently found on the outskirts of town and in heavily wooded areas.
As pack animals, deer almost never travel alone. If you see one deer, you can bet that there are others nearby.
Preventive Techniques
The two most important ways to avoid a deer-vehicle collision are: slow down and SLOW DOWN. If you are driving through an area known for high deer populations, slow down and observe the speed limit. The more conservative you are with your speed, the more time you will have to brake if an animal darts into your path.
Always wear a seatbelt. The most severe injuries in deer-vehicle collisions usually result from failure to use a seatbelt.
Watch for the shine of eyes along the roadside and immediately begin to slow.
Use your high beams whenever the road is free of oncoming traffic. This will increase your visibility and give you more time to react.
Deer can become mesmerized by steady, bright lights so if you see one frozen on the road, slow down and flash your lights. Some experts recommend one long blast of the horn to scare them out of the road, as well.
Pay close attention to caution signs indicating deer or other large animals. These signs are specifically placed in high-traffic areas where road crossings are frequent.
If you're on a multi-lane road, drive in the center lane to give as much space to grazing deer as possible.
Encountering a Deer
Never swerve to avoid a deer in the road. Swerving can confuse the deer on where to run. Swerving can also cause a head-on collision with oncoming vehicles, take you off the roadway into a tree or a ditch, and greatly increase the chances of serious injuries.
Deer are unpredictable creatures, and one that is calmly standing by the side of the road may suddenly leap into the roadway without warning. Slowing down when you spot a deer is the best way to avoid a collision. However, if one does move into your path, maintain control and do your best to brake and give the deer time to get out of your way.
Don't rely on hood whistles or other devices designed to scare off deer. These have not been proven to work.
If you do collide with a deer (or large animal), call emergency services if injuries are involved, or the local police if no one is injured, but damage has been caused to your property or someone else's. Never touch an animal that is in the roadway. Report the incident to your insurance company as soon as possible.
Unlike that fictional driver from the car commercial, knowing what to do when you encounter a large animal on or near the roadway can be a life-saver. Keeping calm and driving smart improve your chances of avoiding a collision and staying safe on the road. Safe travels!

This event had been promoted as a taxpayer “tea party” but the crowd’s concerns were wide ranging, from outrage at the corrupt ACORN activists and Obama’s socialist cadre known as Czars, to Obama’s naked untruthfulness. Protesters also displayed signs mocking Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid for smearing the grassroots movement as “astroturfers” and an “angry mob”.
I think this gathering should be appreciated as the extremely important historical event that it is. This is the first great conservative anti-statist manifestation in American history. The conservative movement, which developed in the post-WWII, Cold War environment has now fully matured into the most significant political movement of the 21st century. I believe that this day could be referred to in the not too distant future as the day that changed America. This was the day the great silent conservative majority finally found its voice.
Many of the attendees were quite meek and timid and were unsure of exactly what to expect, this being the first time in their lives they’d been involved in a protest movement. Their fears evaporated early in the day and people reveled in the camaraderie , the joy and sheer civility that was exhibited at the entire event. Chants of “Freedom, freedom, freedom”, “No more czars! No more czars!” carried through the air without the slightest hint of the rancor which is the norm at the many leftist rallies I have photographed over the years.
The two photos above show a tiny fraction of the multitude that surged through the American capitol. I saw signs and heard lots of comments comparing this event to Woodstock. At the time this photo was taken, around 1:00 p.m., Pennsylvania Avenue was still jammed completely, and the mall was packed from the Capitol Building past the Washington Monument. Protesters came from every state in the union. This man came from San Antonio, TX. He said that he was really sorry he hadn’t brought his family. He stated that being a black conservative he was unwilling to expose his children to what he expected would be a lot of liberal abuse. He was thrilled with the overall tenor of the event and the fact that no liberals were present to harass him. He spoke about how incredibly intolerant the left is to black individuals who don’t bow to the party line.
These Ohioans took a day off their rodeo bull-riding schedule. They said they’ll be back at it tomorrow.
Mike Pence (R-Indiana) was one of the speakers who addressed the crowd: “After years of fighting runaway government on this hill, you people look like the cavalry to me..I believe we are on the verge of a great American awakening.”
San Diego radio host Mason Weaver said from the podium: “I came here because I thought you might want to hear a black man speak without a teleprompter…This government is trying to make a nation of dependent people. Americans have always been independent people…This is not a Republican thing, it’s not a Democrat thing. It’s not a black thing or a white thing. It’s an American thing…We the people are telling them ‘No more! We’ve had enough!”
In the very center of the photo, above the Silence is Consent – Can You Hear Us Now sign, you can see Pennsylvania Ave., which at this time is totally blocked with protesters who cannot move forward to the Capitol area. Sorry, full up.
There were notable differences though, in the behavior of these attendees. Although the legend of Woodstock is that there was a friendly atmosphere of camaraderie, the truth is that most people were there for the drugs, sex and rock and roll. Today in D.C. there was a true kinship amongst these people based on shared values and intellectual understanding of what America is and how its future is imperiled by big radical government.
No one was having sex in the Reflecting Pool let alone the mud, and I saw no one projectile vomiting on the steps of the Capitol. There were no warnings to avoid the bad acid which would send you on a trip to the hospital. Not just a different era, but a different level of civilized behavior and thought. Oh, and by the way, these people didn’t leave tons of garbage behind when they left. Actually they left no trash behind at all.

New Audio Shows White House Using NEA to Push Obama Agenda

RUSH: Do you remember that NEA phone call? I think it was back in August, the 21st or the 25th, and it featured basically a coordination from the White House to the National Endowment for the Arts to promote Obama's health care and parts of his domestic agenda. One of the artists on that call got hold of Breitbart and said they're turning the National Endowment for the Arts and www.Serve.gov, the latest website out of the White House, into political instruments, and there are four pieces written on this at BigGovernment.com. But all it really exposes up 'til now is that the NEA was lying about their coordination with the Obama White House on spreading propaganda. This is the thing that George Will had a comment on This Week, said some laws were broken in this call. Then after some attention was focused on this they announced that the National Endowment for the Arts director of communications Yosi Sargent had been reassigned. They said he was fired but he was actually just reassigned.
A week later George Will wrote a Washington Post column on this and understandably a lot of people are infuriated about the politicization of the NEA and turning it into an Obama campaign. I don't know why anybody is surprised about this. Folks, the private sector of this country is being gobbled up like Pacman on steroids. The idea the Obama administration would be using some left-wing agency like the NEA to spread his domestic propaganda is not a shock. There hasn't been any evidence up 'til now, though, of Obama being involved in it, just the NEA. But that is until today. Now, the BigGovernment.com website has full audio and a full transcript. It's 44 pages. There are 25 different audio sound bites. We're putting together a couple of key elements of the sound bites from this page and we hope to have it in the next hour, but the transcript and the full audio at BigGovernment.com. Apparently the full transcript here shows the White House orchestrating this through a woman named Buffy Wicks with the White House Office of Public Engagement. Buffy Wicks works under Valerie Jarrett, who is at the right hand of Barack Obama, The Almighty.
Also in the call, orchestrating service in the name of Obama to the NEA -- you gotta go out and serve, you gotta advance the agenda in service, the name of Obama, Nell Abernathy, director of outreach of the Corporation of National and Community Service, which is the independent agency that is the parent of the president's United We Serve initiative. Now, they got rid of Yosi Sergant, they threw him under the bus, they reassigned him within but what happens is by getting rid of this guy they're trying to cover up the fact the White House is involved in using the NEA to spread Obama propaganda and as George Will has speculated, there have to be laws being violated here. The White House and Valerie Jarrett admit that by reassigning Yosi that something was wrong, a tantamount admission by their action. But the White House it turns out, according to Breitbart's website, is in charge of the call, has ties to ACORN, even. We know that www.Serve.gov, we mentioned last week, all it is is an end run now that ACORN is in trouble, Serve.gov simply, if you call in there, if you go to their website, they'll redirect you to various front community organizations all tied to the White House designed to spread the Obama agenda.
Now, this Buffy Wicks babe, who works very closely with Valerie Jarrett, and there's nothing she's doing that Obama doesn't know about, Buffy Wicks organized the Walmart boycotts over the years, which were shakedowns. Buffy Wicks used ACORN to help protest Walmart. The legal and political scrutiny here is going to be damning if people go look at this. I don't expect the Drive-Bys in the State-Controlled Media to pick this up but it's just the latest drop. Buffy Wicks, the deputy director of the White House Office of Public Engagement, she is key to all this because previously the only person identified was an NEA, National Endowment for the Arts underling but now there's a key White House person in Valerie Jarrett's office heard on the phone calls orchestrating artists to go out and do it for Obama. Now, this is a clear violation of the law, and the tapes of the calls are there, it's a huge posting, 44 pages, 25 audio sound bites. This is just the latest in the videotapes with the pimp and the prostitute running in and exposing ACORN for what they are.
Now, the White House central to this call, the White House central to this operation, according to Breitbart's BigGovernment.com. There's also a bunch of pro-Obama art that was written for this, and drawn, and created and that came from the phone call from Buffy Wicks to all these artists who are being urged to go out and win one for Obama. It's pretty damning, and it's much too large and complicated here to expose it all on the radio show, but we are putting together some of the key audio of the phone call from Buffy Wicks who works right there with Valerie Jarrett. So in a nutshell, what you have here is the White House using the NEA to more or less demand that they publicly support Obama and his health care and his agenda. Now, the NEA gets all their grant money from the federal government. They were threatened here vaguely that money might stop. They were asked to produce some pro-Obama artwork. And I'm thinking, why wouldn't they already be doing that? (laughing) That's what they do. So BigGovernment.com and you'll find everything.
Stephanopoulos probably thought he was getting tough on the president by quibbling over -- did you see this on This Week yesterday, whether a tax is a tax? We had to go through parsing the word "is" under Clinton, well, depends on what the word "is" means. Now the way to understand that Obama does not think a tax is a tax is all money is his. For whatever his agenda needs it's his anyway, he's just going to keep more of it rather than letting you get back some of what they've taken from what you earn. We've got audio sound bites of Stephanopoulos. By the way, Howard Kurtz, Obama did not break through, he did not break through on these five Sunday appearances. It just didn't work for him out there and so, because of that, the State-Controlled Media once again focusing on me and focusing on the uncivil right wing media in this country.

RUSH: White House officials on tape coordinating the use of the NEA for propaganda, Buffy Wicks, August 2009, works with Valerie Jarrett, deputy director of the White House Office of Public Engagement. Here's a portion of her remarks using the NEA to push White House propaganda, said the White House is coming at them with some specific requests.
WICKS: You know, we won, and that's exciting and now we have to take all that energy and -- and make it really meaningful. Change does not come easy and, you know, when -- when then-candidate Obama would say that, it's like, yeah, I know change doesn't come easy, but now that I'm actually in the White House and working towards furthering this agenda, this very aggressive agenda, I'm really realizing that and I'm also really appreciative of the way in which that we did win and the strategy that the campaign chose which is really to engage people at a local level and engage them in the process because we need them and we need you and we're going to need your help and we're going to come at you with some specific tasks here.
RUSH: Specific requests. We're going to ask you to help us advance the agenda. Here she mentions her boss Valerie Jarrett, who we have to assume knows what she's doing.
WICKS: I'm at the Office of Public Engagement here at the White House. Our office does a lot of outreach to communities all across the country either by constituency group or by issue. We have about 20 folks and we work under Valerie Jarrett. We're really here at your disposal and we want to be helpful to you. And my role here is working on service. And so when we were thinking about how do we take a lot of this energy that's out there, how do we translate folks who have just been engaged in electoral politics and engage them in really the process of governing and of being a part of this administration in a little bit of different way because politics is one thing and governing is something totally separate, and so we really saw service as the platform by which we can do that.
RUSH: Service disguised as advancing an Obama agenda, propaganda run out of Valerie Jarrett's office in the White House by Buffy Wicks, Buffy the Walmart Slayer, she organized all the boycotts and hassles with Walmart using ACORN to harass them, and this is a conference call with members of the NEA, artists, which is federally funded, so not kosher here.

RUSH: We got one more sound bite here from Buffy Wicks. This is a conference call. This is out of the White House. Deputy director White House Office of Public Engagement. She works directly for and under Valerie Jarrett, Obama and Michelle's top advisor. Now, this is a final portion of Buffy's remarks to all the artists from the NEA on this conference call.
WICKS: So we focus on the four main areas: One is health care. Obviously, that's a big issue. We met with Health and Human Services and thought through there are ways we can have organizations and individuals work with HHS and others to be effective. Is it preventative health care? WILL: Recently there was a conference call arranged by the National Endowment for the Arts with a representative of the White House for potential grantees or actual grantees of the federal government, getting subsidies. The thing of it was how the arts community could help advance the president's agenda. And I don't know how many laws that breaks, but I'm sure there are some.
RUSH: Gotta be exactly right. I don't know how many laws there are, but nobody's going to be holding him accountable. You could ask what in the world is constitutional about Obama's health care plan. Where does it say in the Constitution you could do this? You know, the constitutionality of most of this agenda could come under serious question if there were any attempt to hold anybody accountable here. But this is what you get with one-party rule with no checks and balances and also when you have a compliant, slavish State-Controlled Media. This is not pimps and hoes in various offices of ACORN around the country, but it is the White House. It is right in the office of Valerie Jarrett, number one advisor to Obama and Michelle with this Buffy babe, Buffy Wicks, conducting a conference call with NEA artists working up various things they can do to help push the entire Obama social agenda. This is a point that we make constantly and it's starting to sound like a broken record, but imagine if this kind of thing were to have been discovered during the Bush administration. There would be no end in sight to the caterwauling and the whining and moaning going on about this.

Then I Went and filled up my gas tank as well as four other people's in the gas station on your credit card. The guy with the big motor home took 150 gallons and was extremely grateful!
I gave your shoes to a homeless guy outside Vinnie Van Go Go's, along with all the cash in your wallet. [That made his day!]
I then threw your wallet into the big pink "pimp mobile" that was parked at the curb ...... after I broke the windshield and side window and keyed the entire driver's side of the car.
Later, I called a bunch of phone sex numbers from your cell phone. Ma Bell just now shut down the line, although I only used the phone for a little over a day now, so what's going on with that?
Earlier, I managed to get in two threatening phone calls to the DA's office and one to the FBI, while mentioning President Obama as my possible target. The FBI guy seemed really intense and we had a nice long chat (I guess while he traced your number, etc).
In a way, perhaps I should apologize for not killing you . .... . but I feel this type of retribution is a far more appropriate punishment for your threatened crime. I wish you well as you try to sort through some of these rather immediate pressing issues, and can only hope that you have the opportunity to reflect upon, and perhaps reconsider the career path you've chosen to pursue in life.

Like a scene straight out of a sports car commercial, you're driving along a winding road in the dead of night, the eerie glow from your headlights meeting the narrow asphalt, when suddenly, two green eyes flash in the darkness ahead – and a deer steps onto the roadway.
Unlike the television ad when the driver swerves wildly around the animal and then speeds off carelessly into the blackness, encountering a deer while you're on the road can be dangerous and scary. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), large animal-vehicle collisions resulted in an average of 187fatalities in recent years.
So, what can you do to stay safe during deer season?
Read on to learn the latest statistics and a few tips for making your drive through deer country as safe as possible.
Deer Statistics
Dawn and dusk are the times you are most likely to encounter deer along the roadside.
Deer breeding season runs from October through early January, and during this time they are highly active and on the move. This is when deer-vehicle collisions are at their peak.
Though deer may wander into suburban neighborhoods, they are most frequently found on the outskirts of town and in heavily wooded areas.
As pack animals, deer almost never travel alone. If you see one deer, you can bet that there are others nearby.
Preventive Techniques
The two most important ways to avoid a deer-vehicle collision are: slow down and SLOW DOWN. If you are driving through an area known for high deer populations, slow down and observe the speed limit. The more conservative you are with your speed, the more time you will have to brake if an animal darts into your path.
Always wear a seatbelt. The most severe injuries in deer-vehicle collisions usually result from failure to use a seatbelt.
Watch for the shine of eyes along the roadside and immediately begin to slow.
Use your high beams whenever the road is free of oncoming traffic. This will increase your visibility and give you more time to react.
Deer can become mesmerized by steady, bright lights so if you see one frozen on the road, slow down and flash your lights. Some experts recommend one long blast of the horn to scare them out of the road, as well.
Pay close attention to caution signs indicating deer or other large animals. These signs are specifically placed in high-traffic areas where road crossings are frequent.
If you're on a multi-lane road, drive in the center lane to give as much space to grazing deer as possible.
Encountering a Deer
Never swerve to avoid a deer in the road. Swerving can confuse the deer on where to run. Swerving can also cause a head-on collision with oncoming vehicles, take you off the roadway into a tree or a ditch, and greatly increase the chances of serious injuries.
Deer are unpredictable creatures, and one that is calmly standing by the side of the road may suddenly leap into the roadway without warning. Slowing down when you spot a deer is the best way to avoid a collision. However, if one does move into your path, maintain control and do your best to brake and give the deer time to get out of your way.
Don't rely on hood whistles or other devices designed to scare off deer. These have not been proven to work.
If you do collide with a deer (or large animal), call emergency services if injuries are involved, or the local police if no one is injured, but damage has been caused to your property or someone else's. Never touch an animal that is in the roadway. Report the incident to your insurance company as soon as possible.
Unlike that fictional driver from the car commercial, knowing what to do when you encounter a large animal on or near the roadway can be a life-saver. Keeping calm and driving smart improve your chances of avoiding a collision and staying safe on the road. Safe travels!

This event had been promoted as a taxpayer “tea party” but the crowd’s concerns were wide ranging, from outrage at the corrupt ACORN activists and Obama’s socialist cadre known as Czars, to Obama’s naked untruthfulness. Protesters also displayed signs mocking Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid for smearing the grassroots movement as “astroturfers” and an “angry mob”.
I think this gathering should be appreciated as the extremely important historical event that it is. This is the first great conservative anti-statist manifestation in American history. The conservative movement, which developed in the post-WWII, Cold War environment has now fully matured into the most significant political movement of the 21st century. I believe that this day could be referred to in the not too distant future as the day that changed America. This was the day the great silent conservative majority finally found its voice.
Many of the attendees were quite meek and timid and were unsure of exactly what to expect, this being the first time in their lives they’d been involved in a protest movement. Their fears evaporated early in the day and people reveled in the camaraderie , the joy and sheer civility that was exhibited at the entire event. Chants of “Freedom, freedom, freedom”, “No more czars! No more czars!” carried through the air without the slightest hint of the rancor which is the norm at the many leftist rallies I have photographed over the years.
The two photos above show a tiny fraction of the multitude that surged through the American capitol. I saw signs and heard lots of comments comparing this event to Woodstock. At the time this photo was taken, around 1:00 p.m., Pennsylvania Avenue was still jammed completely, and the mall was packed from the Capitol Building past the Washington Monument. Protesters came from every state in the union. This man came from San Antonio, TX. He said that he was really sorry he hadn’t brought his family. He stated that being a black conservative he was unwilling to expose his children to what he expected would be a lot of liberal abuse. He was thrilled with the overall tenor of the event and the fact that no liberals were present to harass him. He spoke about how incredibly intolerant the left is to black individuals who don’t bow to the party line.
These Ohioans took a day off their rodeo bull-riding schedule. They said they’ll be back at it tomorrow.
Mike Pence (R-Indiana) was one of the speakers who addressed the crowd: “After years of fighting runaway government on this hill, you people look like the cavalry to me..I believe we are on the verge of a great American awakening.”
San Diego radio host Mason Weaver said from the podium: “I came here because I thought you might want to hear a black man speak without a teleprompter…This government is trying to make a nation of dependent people. Americans have always been independent people…This is not a Republican thing, it’s not a Democrat thing. It’s not a black thing or a white thing. It’s an American thing…We the people are telling them ‘No more! We’ve had enough!”
In the very center of the photo, above the Silence is Consent – Can You Hear Us Now sign, you can see Pennsylvania Ave., which at this time is totally blocked with protesters who cannot move forward to the Capitol area. Sorry, full up.
There were notable differences though, in the behavior of these attendees. Although the legend of Woodstock is that there was a friendly atmosphere of camaraderie, the truth is that most people were there for the drugs, sex and rock and roll. Today in D.C. there was a true kinship amongst these people based on shared values and intellectual understanding of what America is and how its future is imperiled by big radical government.
No one was having sex in the Reflecting Pool let alone the mud, and I saw no one projectile vomiting on the steps of the Capitol. There were no warnings to avoid the bad acid which would send you on a trip to the hospital. Not just a different era, but a different level of civilized behavior and thought. Oh, and by the way, these people didn’t leave tons of garbage behind when they left. Actually they left no trash behind at all.

RUSH: Do you remember that NEA phone call? I think it was back in August, the 21st or the 25th, and it featured basically a coordination from the White House to the National Endowment for the Arts to promote Obama's health care and parts of his domestic agenda. One of the artists on that call got hold of Breitbart and said they're turning the National Endowment for the Arts and www.Serve.gov, the latest website out of the White House, into political instruments, and there are four pieces written on this at BigGovernment.com. But all it really exposes up 'til now is that the NEA was lying about their coordination with the Obama White House on spreading propaganda. This is the thing that George Will had a comment on This Week, said some laws were broken in this call. Then after some attention was focused on this they announced that the National Endowment for the Arts director of communications Yosi Sargent had been reassigned. They said he was fired but he was actually just reassigned.
A week later George Will wrote a Washington Post column on this and understandably a lot of people are infuriated about the politicization of the NEA and turning it into an Obama campaign. I don't know why anybody is surprised about this. Folks, the private sector of this country is being gobbled up like Pacman on steroids. The idea the Obama administration would be using some left-wing agency like the NEA to spread his domestic propaganda is not a shock. There hasn't been any evidence up 'til now, though, of Obama being involved in it, just the NEA. But that is until today. Now, the BigGovernment.com website has full audio and a full transcript. It's 44 pages. There are 25 different audio sound bites. We're putting together a couple of key elements of the sound bites from this page and we hope to have it in the next hour, but the transcript and the full audio at BigGovernment.com. Apparently the full transcript here shows the White House orchestrating this through a woman named Buffy Wicks with the White House Office of Public Engagement. Buffy Wicks works under Valerie Jarrett, who is at the right hand of Barack Obama, The Almighty.
Also in the call, orchestrating service in the name of Obama to the NEA -- you gotta go out and serve, you gotta advance the agenda in service, the name of Obama, Nell Abernathy, director of outreach of the Corporation of National and Community Service, which is the independent agency that is the parent of the president's United We Serve initiative. Now, they got rid of Yosi Sergant, they threw him under the bus, they reassigned him within but what happens is by getting rid of this guy they're trying to cover up the fact the White House is involved in using the NEA to spread Obama propaganda and as George Will has speculated, there have to be laws being violated here. The White House and Valerie Jarrett admit that by reassigning Yosi that something was wrong, a tantamount admission by their action. But the White House it turns out, according to Breitbart's website, is in charge of the call, has ties to ACORN, even. We know that www.Serve.gov, we mentioned last week, all it is is an end run now that ACORN is in trouble, Serve.gov simply, if you call in there, if you go to their website, they'll redirect you to various front community organizations all tied to the White House designed to spread the Obama agenda.
Now, this Buffy Wicks babe, who works very closely with Valerie Jarrett, and there's nothing she's doing that Obama doesn't know about, Buffy Wicks organized the Walmart boycotts over the years, which were shakedowns. Buffy Wicks used ACORN to help protest Walmart. The legal and political scrutiny here is going to be damning if people go look at this. I don't expect the Drive-Bys in the State-Controlled Media to pick this up but it's just the latest drop. Buffy Wicks, the deputy director of the White House Office of Public Engagement, she is key to all this because previously the only person identified was an NEA, National Endowment for the Arts underling but now there's a key White House person in Valerie Jarrett's office heard on the phone calls orchestrating artists to go out and do it for Obama. Now, this is a clear violation of the law, and the tapes of the calls are there, it's a huge posting, 44 pages, 25 audio sound bites. This is just the latest in the videotapes with the pimp and the prostitute running in and exposing ACORN for what they are.
Now, the White House central to this call, the White House central to this operation, according to Breitbart's BigGovernment.com. There's also a bunch of pro-Obama art that was written for this, and drawn, and created and that came from the phone call from Buffy Wicks to all these artists who are being urged to go out and win one for Obama. It's pretty damning, and it's much too large and complicated here to expose it all on the radio show, but we are putting together some of the key audio of the phone call from Buffy Wicks who works right there with Valerie Jarrett. So in a nutshell, what you have here is the White House using the NEA to more or less demand that they publicly support Obama and his health care and his agenda. Now, the NEA gets all their grant money from the federal government. They were threatened here vaguely that money might stop. They were asked to produce some pro-Obama artwork. And I'm thinking, why wouldn't they already be doing that? (laughing) That's what they do. So BigGovernment.com and you'll find everything.
Stephanopoulos probably thought he was getting tough on the president by quibbling over -- did you see this on This Week yesterday, whether a tax is a tax? We had to go through parsing the word "is" under Clinton, well, depends on what the word "is" means. Now the way to understand that Obama does not think a tax is a tax is all money is his. For whatever his agenda needs it's his anyway, he's just going to keep more of it rather than letting you get back some of what they've taken from what you earn. We've got audio sound bites of Stephanopoulos. By the way, Howard Kurtz, Obama did not break through, he did not break through on these five Sunday appearances. It just didn't work for him out there and so, because of that, the State-Controlled Media once again focusing on me and focusing on the uncivil right wing media in this country.

Here's a portion of her remarks using the NEA to push White House propaganda, said the White House is coming at them with some specific requests.
WICKS: You know, we won, and that's exciting and now we have to take all that energy and -- and make it really meaningful. Change does not come easy and, you know, when -- when then-candidate Obama would say that, it's like, yeah, I know change doesn't come easy, but now that I'm actually in the White House and working towards furthering this agenda, this very aggressive agenda, I'm really realizing that and I'm also really appreciative of the way in which that we did win and the strategy that the campaign chose which is really to engage people at a local level and engage them in the process because we need them and we need you and we're going to need your help and we're going to come at you with some specific tasks here.
RUSH: Specific requests. We're going to ask you to help us advance the agenda. Here she mentions her boss Valerie Jarrett, who we have to assume knows what she's doing.
WICKS: I'm at the Office of Public Engagement here at the White House. Our office does a lot of outreach to communities all across the country either by constituency group or by issue. We have about 20 folks and we work under Valerie Jarrett. We're really here at your disposal and we want to be helpful to you. And my role here is working on service. And so when we were thinking about how do we take a lot of this energy that's out there, how do we translate folks who have just been engaged in electoral politics and engage them in really the process of governing and of being a part of this administration in a little bit of different way because politics is one thing and governing is something totally separate, and so we really saw service as the platform by which we can do that.
RUSH: Service disguised as advancing an Obama agenda, propaganda run out of Valerie Jarrett's office in the White House by Buffy Wicks, Buffy the Walmart Slayer, she organized all the boycotts and hassles with Walmart using ACORN to harass them, and this is a conference call with members of the NEA, artists, which is federally funded, so not kosher here.

RUSH: We got one more sound bite here from Buffy Wicks. This is a conference call. This is out of the White House. Deputy director White House Office of Public Engagement. She works directly for and under Valerie Jarrett, Obama and Michelle's top advisor. Now, this is a final portion of Buffy's remarks to all the artists from the NEA on this conference call.
WICKS: So we focus on the four main areas: One is health care. Obviously, that's a big issue. We met with Health and Human Services and thought through there are ways we can have organizations and individuals work with HHS and others to be effective. Is it preventative health care? Is it children nutrition? What are the main issues? What's the main focus there? Second was energy and environment. And so we worked a lot with the Department of Interior. I know I'm throwing a lot of government stuff at you guys, so bear with me. It's the world we live in now. We're actually running the government.
RUSH: "We're actually running the government," Buffy Wicks. This is BigGovernment.com and BigHollywood.Breitbart.com. It's all over the place. It's actually amazing. Let's jump forward now to Sunday, September 6th. That's audio sound bite number 27. Now, this is after the first series of tapes were heard but Buffy Wicks had not been heard in those tapes. Only a guy named Yosi Sergant had been heard. And after these tapes aired, Yosi was reassigned and thrown under the bus. This is George Will on This Week, September 6th, the roundtable discussing all this.
WILL: Recently there was a conference call arranged by the National Endowment for the Arts with a representative of the White House for potential grantees or actual grantees of the federal government, getting subsidies. The thing of it was how the arts community could help advance the president's agenda. And I don't know how many laws that breaks, but I'm sure there are some.
RUSH: Gotta be exactly right. I don't know how many laws there are, but nobody's going to be holding him accountable. You could ask what in the world is constitutional about Obama's health care plan. Where does it say in the Constitution you could do this? You know, the constitutionality of most of this agenda could come under serious question if there were any attempt to hold anybody accountable here. But this is what you get with one-party rule with no checks and balances and also when you have a compliant, slavish State-Controlled Media. This is not pimps and hoes in various offices of ACORN around the country, but it is the White House. It is right in the office of Valerie Jarrett, number one advisor to Obama and Michelle with this Buffy babe, Buffy Wicks, conducting a conference call with NEA artists working up various things they can do to help push the entire Obama social agenda. This is a point that we make constantly and it's starting to sound like a broken record, but imagine if this kind of thing were to have been discovered during the Bush administration. There would be no end in sight to the caterwauling and the whining and moaning going on about this.

RUSH: Say, folks, do you remember when it was revealed that the Bush Department of Education had paid Armstrong Williams something like $241,000 to help promote the No Child Left Behind Act? Remember that? Exactly what is happening with the Obama White House and the NEA. And when it was discovered that Armstrong Williams had taken 241 grand, Henry Waxman introduced H.R. 373 which would make such a thing completely against the law. Do you remember that? I do. That's why I have the presence of mind to mention it to you now.

To the Guy Who Tried to Mug Me
I was the guy wearing the black Burberry jacket that you demanded that I hand over, shortly after you pulled the knife on my girlfriend and me, threatening our lives.
You also asked for my girlfriend's purse and earrings.
I can only hope that you somehow come across this rather important message.
First, I'd like to apologize for your embarrassment when I drew my pistol after you took my Jacket. The evening was not that cold, and I was wearing the jacket for a reason.
My girlfriend had just bought me that Kimber Model 1911 .45 ACP pistol for my birthday, and we had picked up a shoulder holster for it that very evening.
Obviously you agree that it is a very Intimidating weapon when pointed at your head, wasn't it?
I know it probably wasn't fun walking back to wherever you'd come from bare footed since I made you leave your shoes, cell phone, and wallet with me. [That prevented you from calling or running to your buddies to come help mug us again].
After I called your mother, or "Momma" as you had her listed in your cell, I explained the entire episode of what you'd done. Then I Went and filled up my gas tank as well as four other people's in the gas station on your credit card. The guy with the big motor home took 150 gallons and was extremely grateful!
I gave your shoes to a homeless guy outside Vinnie Van Go Go's, along with all the cash in your wallet. [That made his day!]
I then threw your wallet into the big pink "pimp mobile" that was parked at the curb ...... after I broke the windshield and side window and keyed the entire driver's side of the car.
Later, I called a bunch of phone sex numbers from your cell phone. Ma Bell just now shut down the line, although I only used the phone for a little over a day now, so what's going on with that?
Earlier, I managed to get in two threatening phone calls to the DA's office and one to the FBI, while mentioning President Obama as my possible target. The FBI guy seemed really intense and we had a nice long chat (I guess while he traced your number, etc).
In a way, perhaps I should apologize for not killing you . .... . but I feel this type of retribution is a far more appropriate punishment for your threatened crime. I wish you well as you try to sort through some of these rather immediate pressing issues, and can only hope that you have the opportunity to reflect upon, and perhaps reconsider the career path you've chosen to pursue in life.
