A few days ago I received an E-mail from a local friend, “Tracey”, concerned as to how President Obama and his administration are ignoring our Constitution and US Code. The friend’s declaration was, “I don’t know why we vote anymore!”
My friend is concerned as the Arizona legislature enacted Senate Bill 1070 (SB1070) and Governor Brewer signed the legislation into law; only for Attorney General Eric Holder to file a lawsuit to overturn Arizona’s SB1070. Earlier, President Obama and AG Holder both admitted they had not read Arizona’s SB1070. The new law is to control and/or prohibit illegal immigration and the criminal elements within.
Arizona law, SB1070 is compliant to the US Constitution, Amendment X: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
ICE Director John Morton says he will not enforce US Immigration Code. ICE now confirms that they are dismissing current prosecutions, and will cease deportation of illegal immigrants. That decision is an “impeachable” act.
Title 8 Section 1325 of the U.S. Code:
"Improper Entry by Alien," any citizen of any country other than the United States who:
Enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers; or
Eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers; or
Attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact; has committed a federal crime.
Violations are punishable by criminal fines and imprisonment for up to six months. Repeat offenses can bring up to two years in prison. Additional civil fines may be imposed at the discretion of immigration judges, but civil fines do not negate the criminal sanctions or nature of the offense.
To my friend Tracey, “It appears we do have a President and administration that chooses to disobey and/or ignore the law. Sadly, the majority Democrats on Capitol Hill should/could address and correct this unlawful activity, but they elect not to. Voting does count! Voting does matter! President Obama and the majority of Democrats on Capitol Hill must obey the laws of our nation”.
One line within the United States Junior Chamber (Jaycee) Creed is “That government should be of laws rather than of men”. All must obey the law.

Islamic Muslim ideals attack Judeo-Christian values

America was established in our Constitution by our Founding Fathers as a Christian nation; not to be divided by any other community or group. There is so much supportive evidence to substantiate this as a fact.
Today, America is being forced to change its’ Judeo-Christian values in making room with a radical Islamic Muslim organization and its ideology. Over the past twenty to thirty years, the growth of immigration of Muslims in America has exploded.
Muslims, being committed to the Quran, follow many actions which are unacceptable in our Judeo-Christian community. Their belief is to kill any and all Christian Americans and anyone within the worldwide Jewish community. These Muslims are willing to kill members of their own family who may decide to disassociate themselves from the Islamic Muslim beliefs. Muslims’ Quran teaches Sharia Law. Muslim leaders are learning our law and forcing our citizens of the Judeo-Christian community to adjust to their lifestyle when actually our lifestyle is intensely opposed to their ethics. The Quran was inspired and written by one individual. The Bible was inspired and written by many men.
Over the past thirty eight (38) years, the Muslim community, without cause, has attacked and/or killed Americans for some fifty nine (59) times http://patriotsforamerica.ning.com/forum/topics/list-of-islamic-terror-attacks. Are Muslims practicing war between America and the Islamic Muslim community?
With these similar instances of the Muslim community, is it time for America to legislatively take a look at Muslims as a religion. Dr. Michael Kessler, who is Assistant Director of the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs and Visiting Assistant Professor of Government at Georgetown University, said in the Washington Post, “Islam is not a religion. It is a violent political ideology of which religion is only one component and is based on its own set of laws that has no tolerance for non-Muslims."
Muslim Clerics and all other leaders in their community around the world must call upon their followers to disassociate themselves from the radical Sharia Law and other teachings within the Quran. Muslims must respect the Judeo-Christian values as founded by our early American fathers in our Constitution.

Republican Party jobs v. Democrat Party unemployment

America’s economy is based on an open free market. Businesses create jobs. Overall, Republicans support businesses. Most businesses support the Republican Party. Republicans and most economists understand the importance of preserving existing employment and creating newer jobs.
Democrats usually support Organized Labor which has forced many of America’s businesses out of business. Labor Union demands for higher wages and benefits often exceed businesses’ ability to compete in the world market. An excellent current example is the United Auto Workers Union chose to deny its’ membership the right to vote on maintaining an Indianapolis, IN factory with an average pay rate of $15.50/hr.; thus, forcing GM to close this factory putting more than 600 jobs in jeopardy. The $15.50/hr. was a competitive rate of pay with other auto manufacturing.
No need to worry! President Obama and the majority Democrat Party on Capitol Hill will extend unemployment benefits at taxpayers’ expense, as long as it is necessary. When Unemployment Insurance is depleted, the taxpayers pick up the tab.
Democrat Party legislators, have by legislation, prevented businesses from giving money to political campaigns participating in the political process. At the same time, Labor Unions are free to spend almost unlimited funds in participating in the political process. Is that equality? Labor Unions expend almost all of their funds in support for (re)election of candidates of the Democrat Party as Democrats support Organized Labor.
President Obama, who is failing to govern the Presidency to upstart our economy, is complaining that businesses should not be allowed to participate in the election process as Organized Labor does. Again, is that fair? SCOTUS says Obama is wrong.
The economic issue of the day is jobs, jobs, and more jobs. Businesses create jobs; Labor Unions do not.
Generally speaking, when you support Democrats candidates who support Labor Unions, you may effectively be voting to export jobs or terminate jobs. Labor Unions often end up driving away jobs.
Generally speaking, when you support Republican candidates who support businesses, you may effectively be voting to create new jobs and/or expansion of more jobs in the marketplace. Businesses quite often expand more jobs.

President Ronald Reagan – A Personal Legacy

A personal summary interface with a “giant of a man” in real life about a distinguished time within our US history.
I loved Ronald Reagan’s “Wisdom”. It was as if God provided him the right words, at the right time, and all the times. Yes, I did consider President Reagan a political friend. Ronald Reagan ran for President of the United States in 1976, 1980, and 1984. I like to say I worked in each of the three campaigns. North Carolina Republicans provided Ronald Reagan his very first Presidential GOP Primary victory in 1976.
Over the years, I ask Ronald Reagan:
While spending a short private meeting with Ronald Reagan in a one-on-one engagement with another personal friend, I asked Ronald Reagan to just “Keep It Simple Stupid” (KISS). He did.
To keep his promises to support Conservative “Fiscal, Social, and Moral” issues to the American people. He did.
For a special invitation for my young son, Michael and me to his January 1981 Presidential Inaugural. He did.
Upon Ronald Reagan being shot by John Hinckley on March 30, 1981, and knowing God would take care of Ronald Reagan, I, with my son, Michael, went to town for purchasing a Get-Well card and mailed it with a special note to President Reagan. Inside that note, I suggested to our President that the next time he was to be in Monroe, NC, I would propose he purchase some new life insurance from me. He did not.
To remember Bobby Allison of NASCAR in his final race of the 1982 year in California, as Bobby was on his way to winning the NASCAR Championship, so long as he finished in fifteenth (15th.) place or better in that race. I proposed he make arrangements on national TV and congratulate race car driver, Bobby Allison on his championship. After Bobby Allison won the “Daytona 500” in February 1982, the first words to come from Bobby Allison’s mouth were, “I love Ronald Reagan”. The final race of the year was rain shorted, with little TV coverage of Bobby Allison’s victory, so there was no Ronald Reagan – Bobby Allison TV interview. It was covered via radio. He tried – TV Rained out.
In the Spring of 1983, and hearing for the first time Lee Greenwood's “God Bless The USA”, I immediately contacted the White House, asking Ronald Reagan to make contact with Lee Greenwood, and invite him to the 1984 GOP National Convention. Ronald Reagan met with Lee Greenwood in Nashville, TN. Lee Greenwood did sing “God Bless The USA” at the 1984 GOP National Convention. He did.
To telephone my dad and mother on their 50th.(?) wedding anniversary to “congratulate”. He did.
To appoint now US Federal Court of Appeals Judge, David Sentelle, of Charlotte, NC to be appointed to US District Court, NC Western District. Mrs. Shirley Bossbach also submitted a letter of recommendation for this appointment. Today, Justice David Sentelle sits on the DC Court of Appeals as Presiding Judge of the Special Division for the Purpose of Appointing Independent Counsels. He did.
Thank you President Reagan for sharing just one moment in your most memorable leadership by restoring our morality, for rebuilding our national economy, for rebuilding our US Military, for tearing down the Communist “Iron Curtain”, for tearing down the physical wall which separated the City of Berlin in Germany. But most of all, thank you for representing the “dawning of America”, by instilling in each of us the ability to “believe in (y)ourself”. Ronald Reagan’s success was his continual focus on “old time Common Sense”. He learned it. He practiced it. He lived it. He legislated by it. God was his Pilot. From an “ole time plowboy” of yesterday, Ronald Reagan was a “goodun”.
God Bless Ronald Reagan and God Bless America!
