Khruswhchev, Brezhnev, Obama, and the U.S. Senate blinked on U.S.-Russia Treaty

Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev “blinked” and agreed to remove all missiles as demanded by President Kennedy.

President Carter pardoned draft dodgers of the Vietnam War. President Carter delivered an energy policy which led to oil and gas shortages, and long waits at the gasoline pumps. President Carter stopped the B-1 bomber program. President gave away the Panama Canal. President Carter signed a Social Security legislation promising to keep Social Security solvent until 2030. Muslim Ayatollah Khomeini took control of Iran by ousting the Shah of Iran. In November, 1979, Iranian militants overran our U.S. Enbassy in Tehran and held sixty-six American hostages for four hundred forty-four days. In April 1980, President Carter failed in an effort to rescue the sixty-six American hostages. President provided a $118 million aid package to Nicaragua’s new Communist’s leader, Daniel Ortega.

President Carter’s one Presidential four-year term was founded on many failures and one major victory; an agreement between the nations of Egypt and Israel.

Immediately following President Reagan’s inauguration in January, 1981, all Amerian hostages in Iran were released.

Candidate Ronald Reagan was vocal in criticizing almost all of President Carter’s economic, social, and national security plans. President Reagan’s loudest destain was President Carter’s proposed Strategic Arms Limitation Talks (SALT) agreement.

President Reagan’s plan was to change policy from “arms limitation” to “arms reduction”. President Reagan signed Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START), reducing ballistic missiles with multiple warheads by up to 50%.

President Obama makes no demands to stop Russia from providing weaponry to Venezuela or any other terrorist-supporting nations.

Within a few days, the U.S. Senate started debating a new START Treaty as proposed by President Obama. What has President Obama promised Americans on any issue that he has not reversed his position on?

President Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, all U.S. Senate Democrats, thirteen U.S. Senate Republicans, and 2 Senate Independent Party members “blinked” on this U.S.-Russia START Treaty.

All 56 Democrat Party Senators who voted on this legislation did support the “U.S.–Russia START Treaty”. Twenty-one Democrat Party Senators who voted in support of “U.S.–Russia START Treaty ” and are up for re-elections in 2012: Akaka-HI, Bingaman-NM, Brown-OH, Cantwell-WA, Cardin-MD, Carper-DE, Casey-PA, Conrad-ND, Feinstein-CA, Gillibrand-NY, Klobuchar-MN, Kohl-W, Manchin-WV, McCaskill-MO, Menendez-NJ, Nelson-FL, Nelson-NE, Stabenow-MI, Tester-MT, Webb-VA, Whitehouse-RI.

Thirty-one Republican Party Senators opposed the “U.S.–Russia START Treaty”. Thirteen Republican Party Senators who voted for the “U.S.–Russia START Treaty”: Alexander-TN, Bennett-UT, Brown-MA, Cochran-MS, Collins-ME, Corker-TN, Gregg-NH, Isakson-G, Johanns-NE, Lugar-IN, Murkowski-AK, Snowe-ME, Voinovich-OH. It must be noted that Republican Party Senators up for re-election in 2012: Brown, Corker, Lugar, and Snowe.

Both Independent Party Senators Lieberman-CT and Sanders-VT supported the “U.S.–Russia START Treaty”. Independent Party Senator Lieberman is up for re-election in 2012.

Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev “blinked” on President Kennedy’s demand. President Carter failed on almost all political efforts. Soviet Premier Leonid Brezhnev “blinked” on President Reagan’s demands. President Obama, 56 Democrats, 13 Republicans, and 2 Independents “blinked” on Russia’s demand to approve the U.S.-Russia START Treaty.

Gov. Perdue to appoint new Union County, N.C. District Attorney

GOP’s Union County District Attorney John Snyder has resigned his newly re-elected office to accept another position in the private sector.

Under N.C.G.S. 163 10. Any vacancy occurring in the office of district attorney for causes other than expiration of term shall be filled by appointment of the Governor…..

For many years, members of the N.C. Judiciary were all appointed or elected by partisan political elections. In the 1980’s, voters in N.C. started voting for Republican Party Judicial candidates in General Elections. With this developing change, the Democrat Party controlled General Assembly changed the law switching Judges to be voted on in non-partisan elections.

Judges are appointed and/or elected for Judgeships by politics. Each and every Judge has his/her own political views of the legal, political, and personal issues at hand. If Judges are to render judgments on the law and their legal, political, and personal beliefs, each should be allowed to express their legal, political, and personal views in partisan political elections?

In most other “vacant” elected political partisan offices in N.C., the respective Democrat or Republican Party Executive Committees recommend replacements to fill the “vacant” offices. District Attorneys’ offices continue to be voted on by political partisan elections. With that being said, Gov. Perdue should do the judicious thing and appoint another Republican Party member replacement of the local District Attorney.

Will Gov. Beverly Perdue decide to appoint Union County’s “vacant” District Attorney by Union County’s voters’ choice, or by another different Democrat Party partisan political selection?

Don’t ask, don’t tell repeal is now do ask, do tell

Capitol Hill’s majority Democrats with the assistance of some Republicans are again chipping away and attacking the Word of God, our Holy Bible. Homosexuality and lesbian activity is wrong in the Bible. It is wrong in society.

As recently as some forty to fifty years ago, homosexuality and lesbian activity was somewhat rare. In the recent Presidential terms under Bill Clinton and specifically Barack Obama, it appears that this unnatural activity seems to be somewhat of a qualification for political appointments.

Our nation and Constitution was founded on Judeo-Christian values more than two hundred thirty four (234) years ago. Many unashamed changes have become American law and tradition since 1963 when our Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) removed our Bible teachings from public schools. Since that time, we are raising a third generation, some of whom now do not know or even hear the Biblical moral and historical importance of following the Holy Bible:

The recent condemnation of our Bible was when the U.S. Senate voted on the legislation, “Don't Ask, Don't Tell Repeal Act of 2010”, Vote Number 281, H.R. 2965, http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=111&session=2&vote=00281 by a vote ’65 for’ to ’31 against’ with ‘4 not voting’.

All fifty-five Democrat Party Senators who voted did vote for “Don't Ask, Don't Tell Repeal Act of 2010”. Fourteen Democrats who voted in support of “Don't Ask, Don't Tell Repeal” and are up for re-elections in 2012: Akaka (D-HI), Bingaman-NM, Brown-OH, Cantwell-WA, Cardin-MD, Carper-DE, Casey-PA, Conrad-ND, Feinstein-CA, Nelson (D-FL), Nelson (D-NE), Stabenow-MI, Tester (D-MT), Whitehouse-RI.

Thirty-one Republican Party Senators voted against “Don't Ask, Don't Tell Repeal”, while 8 Republican Party Senators voted for “Don't Ask, Don't Tell Repeal”: Bennett-UT, Brown-MA, Burr-NC, Collins-ME, Ensign-NV, Kirk-IL, Murkowski-AK, Snowe-ME, Voinovich-OH. It must be noted that Senators Brown and Snowe are up for re-election in 2012.

Both Independent Party Senators Lieberman-CT and Sanders-VT voted for “Don't Ask, Don't Tell Repeal”.

Homosexuality and lesbian activity with or without “Don’t ask, don’t tell” is wrong as described in the Holy Word. It is wrong in our culture. To promote the mixing of homosexuality and lesbian activity in the US Military or any other mix in society is generating a collapse in humanity.

Democrats Dream Act is an American criminal nightmare

Majority Democrat Party members in the U.S. Senate continue to press the issue of “amnesty” for “Illegal Immigrants”. What Senate Democrats call the “Dream Act” is more akin to an American criminal nightmare. Illegal immigrants are criminals, as they ascertain a fraudulent SS Card, fraudulent ID, fraudulent Driver Operator’s License, etc. With the fraudulent credentials, the “illegal immigrant” proceeds to visit employers for a job.

Our U.S. economy is in recession. Many are struggling to maintain their homes and their families. Granting “amnesty” for “illegal immigrants” creates more economic burdens on all, and specifically, the African-American communities. “Amnesty” for “illegal immigrants” will generate elevated unemployment in our minority communities. Americans support “legal immigration”. Americans oppose “illegal immigration”.

“Illegal immigrants” abuse our hospitals and other medical facilities, our Social Services, our public schools, etc., all at the expense of Americans taxpayers. These added costs prevent legal citizens from receiving adequate needs and services. The real issue in opposing “Illegal immigrants” is associated with the increasing criminal activity that is also entering America. Democrats should explain how their proposed “Dream Act” will disassociate criminal element “illegal immigrants” from criminal Islamic Muslin terrorists.

On December 14, 2010, a U.S. Border Patrol Officer was shot and murdered near the U.S. – Mexican border. Where is President Obama or Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano? Neither shows up on the crime scene? President Obama sends our US Military to fight in the Middle East and visits the assigned troops in the Middle East. Obama fails to send adequate U.S. Military troops to our U.S. – Mexican border or even visit the murder scene when Mexican cartels may be the murderers on American soil. Mexican cartels are gaining control of Americans’ properties. Law enforcement officers are dying without ample support from the Obama administration.

Under the present legislation, rather than requiring “illegal immigrants” to go through the current system to obtain citizenship, the Obama/Reid/Pelosi teams are attempting to legislate “amnesty citizenship” to “illegal immigrant” criminals.

According to current political polls, 65% of Americans are saying, “Seal the border”. President Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and other supporting Capitol Hill Democrats are blocking these calls instead of blocking the borders.

On December 18, 2010, Vote Number 278 for “S. Amendment 3 to H.R. 5281” of the Democrats’, “The Dream Act”, the US Senate failed a Cloture vote ‘55 for’ and ‘41 against’ with ‘4 not voting’. Cloture would require a vote of 60 or more “for Cloture” on “amnesty” for “illegal immigrants”. http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=111&session=2&vote=00278.

Fifty Democrat Party Senators voted “for Cloture”; and in support of “amnesty” for “illegal immigrants”. It must be noted that Fifteen Democrats who voted in support of “amnesty” for “illegal immigrants” and are up for re-elections in 2012 are: Bingaman-NM, Brown-OH, Cantwell-WA, Cardin-MD, Carper-DE, Casey-PA, Conrad-ND, Feinstein-CA, Gillibrand-NY, Klobuchar-MN, Kohl-WI, McCaskill-MO, Menendez-NJ Stabenow-MI, Webb-VA, Whitehouse-RI.

Thirty-six Republican Party Senators voted to “oppose Cloture”, and against “amnesty” for “illegal immigrants”, while 3 Republican Party Senators voted “for Cloture” and in support of “amnesty” for “illegal immigrants” (Bennett-UT, Lugar-IN, and Murkowski-AK). It must be noted that Senator Lugar is up for re-election in 2012.

Both Independent Party Senators Lieberman-CT and Sanders-VT voted “for Cloture”; and in support of “amnesty” for “illegal immigrants”.

When will President Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and other supporting Democrat members on Capitol Hill discontinue their plan to cram “amnesty” for “illegal immigration” down (y)our throats”? Americans continue to say “NO”. What Senate Democrats call the “Dream Act” is more akin to an American criminal nightmare.
