Wake up America! Social Security is in trouble.

Is America Mr. Stupid? President Obama reported on August 20 that Social Security is not in trouble.

Over the last three decades, the Democrats on Capitol Hill, in their words, have been protecting Social Security. In doing so, the liberal Democrats have refused to allow conventional investments on the income of the Social Security fund as collected from American workers. Many in the GOP have proposed that a more conventional diversified investment portfolio would improve the Social Security investment returns while protecting reserves.

More and more Americans are reaching retirement age, as well as others who qualify for Social Security benefits due to death or disability. Our dwindling Social Security fund has been sending warnings to Americans for many years. Democrats continue to allow the Social Security funds to function without any corrective action for protection. Now we have reached a dangerous time where, without some immediate restorative action, we may see the Social Security fund perish.

The first question that the American taxpayers’ may ask is, “Where is the Social Security Fund Account”? The answer is that there is no separate Social Security fund. Liberal legislators on Capitol Hill have continued for years to count the Social Security fund income as just one more part of the entire budget, rather than putting the Social Security fund income into a protective “lock box”. That decision allows those on Capitol Hill to squander more otherwise, over-budget spending.

America is now in debt to the tune of $13 Trillion. This leaves every living human being, from infants to and including the elderly, in America into debt by more than $43,000 or every taxpayer in excess of $120,000. This over-spending debt is owed to Communist China, Saudi Arabia, and others.

Bernard Madoff is currently in prison for stealing Americans’ investments. Liberals on Capitol Hill should be and would be had lawmakers lacked the authority to write the legislation which allows them to misappropriate and spend by command. America must awaken as to how the Liberals on Capitol Hill are destroying (y)our wealth to an era of no return. These debts must be paid to these foreign lenders by someone, sometime.

Regardless of what President Obama says, Social Security is in financial trouble, but Social Security recipients must be protected at all cost. When will the excessive over-spending budgeting end? How can America repay this debt? What are Americans willing to give up to save our nation and pay (y)our debt?
