Barack Obama is trying out a new message? Is that what he is doing? It is a fact that his older message is being rejected. Americans are also rejecting Obama’s first appointments, Eric Holder, as one assisting Obama as recommending his Vice Presidential nominee. Holder has a very shady and/or somewhat corrupt background. According to published reports, Eric Holder played a key role in the very dirty pardon of fugitive Marc Rich, who fled America to avoid 48 million dollars of tax evasion, 48 counts of racketeering, and operating illegal oil deals with Iran, while Americans were being held hostage in Iran. President Clinton pardoned Marc Rich at the recommendation of Eric Holder. But then, Marc Rich’s wife allegedly spent the night(s) in the Clinton White House, whatever that means. Oh, it is not just Obama. It is Obama and a majority of our Democrats on Capitol Hill who need a new message; a message to help America, our economy, and its entire people.
Our economy is on the minds of most all Americans. The foremost issue at hand is the price of gasoline. Obama, along with almost all of Washington, DC Capitol Democrats have time and time again voted to deny drilling for additional known oil established finds. At the same time, almost all Republicans vote for drilling for additional known oil, in an effort to make more gasoline readily available at reduced prices.
We, in America, have much known oil fields in ANWAR, offshore, and in many other states within our continual United States. All we have to do is drill, remove, and refine it. Gasoline prices of today are hurting our American economy by costing jobs in the workplace, whether they are employed with a “mom & pops” community store, or in the larger manufacturing plants. The escalating prices of gasoline are causing increased prices in food and every other product which requires gasoline and/or fuel oil in transportation getting the goods to the market.
Drilling and extracting new oil resources will make America independent of the OPEC nations and their product. Drilling and extracting new oil resources will restore and create new jobs for Americans.
America can blame Obama and his majority Democrats in the US Senate for the escalating prices of gasoline, attempting to destroy our whole economy. Working citizens and seniors are left without the financial resources to purchase gasoline to purchase food, as well as other necessities such as Healthcare, and additional supplies. Every time Americans go to purchase gasoline, and look at the escalating prices, they should thank the Liberal Democrats on Capitol Hill.
How high does the price of gasoline have to reach for the Democrats on Capitol Hill to start voting to allow American oil companies to drill for new oil, thus deciding that the American consumer needs the immediate help? Florida’s two US Senators allow China and Cuba to drill for oil closer to Florida than American oil companies are allowed. When will Americans recognize that the problem with the price of gasoline lies at the feet of Capitol Hill Democrats? When will Capitol Hill Democrats help the American economy, creating jobs for our populace consumers, by added gasoline more available at a reduced cost effective price of gasoline? It seems the Democrats’ only solution to the escalating cost of gasoline is to tax the oil companies. Taxing the oil companies will merely add more cost to gasoline! Every business increases their product(s) anytime the cost of production increases.
Almost all Republicans on Capitol Hill realize the escalating cost of gasoline is crushing the budgets in every home for absolute necessities of life such as food, shelter, healthcare, etc. It is as if Barack Obama and most Democrats on Capitol Hill do not even care about our economy and/or our society, so long as they can blame President Bush.
Yes, Obama and the Democrats on Capitol Hill need a new message; a message on morality, a message on ethics, a message on true all-American leadership, and a message for a growing economy.

Who Is Protecting America’s Seniors?
Does anyone on Capitol Hill, or even in the White House, care about Americas’ seniors anymore? In January 2008, Social Security recipients received a Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) monthly increase of 2.3%. Have you heard anyone on Capitol Hill or in the White House even bring up the issue of “seniors” and their current options of increased costs of health care and medicine, Medicare B & D monthly premiums and their deductibles, along with the rising cost of gasoline and other energy cost, food, clothing, etc.?
In January 2008, Social Security recipients faced a Medicare B monthly premium increase of 3.1% along with an increase in Medicare B deductibles. In addition, Social Security recipients faced an additional premium increase in Medicare D along with an increase in Medicare D deductibles alongside with an increase in actual different levels of medicine cost.
The bottom line is that with the 2.3% annual increase for Social Security recipients, along with the premium increases in Medicare B and Medicare D, followed by the two (2) increased deductibles, and the increases in the cost of health care, pharmaceutical cost, followed with the exorbitant increasing cost of gasoline, energy cost for utilities, food, etc., “required needs” are no longer being met. Many seniors are financially, backtracking, being forced to accept never before decisions on healthcare, medicine, and/or food and other most essential requirements. Why should seniors be deprived of actual required necessities this way? Some seniors do and/or may be “falling through the cracks”.
Yes, there are a few discussions of the continuing increase in the cost of gasoline and healthcare. Fuel oil and gasoline increases are the driving forces in escalating the cost of other utilities, food, clothing, etc., just for seniors and all others, to get our products to and from the marketplace. Ordinarily, in the marketplace, prices are determined by “supply and demand”. The problem is OPEC is controlling our supply with oil and gasoline shortage, which is, in turn, powering the increased prices. This is destructive to our entire US economy, but more so to seniors and others forced to live on a fixed income.
The cure is for America to drill and capture our own “known oil reserves”. Capturing “known oil reserves” can reduce oil and gasoline prices, make our government “oil independent” from OPEC nations, and rectify an error for our entire citizens and our economy. The majority Democrats know this, so why will they not vote “YES”, just for the economy?
President Bush says there is nothing more he can do! Mr. President, whatever happened to “Executive Orders”? You could issue an “Executive Order” authorizing the drilling for oil in “known oil reserves”. I do not believe there are enough politicos on Capitol Hill to “overturn and/or veto” that “Executive Order”, not to mention it would be a winning issue politically and economically, for each and all, within our US economy. I do believe any effort to “overturn or veto” this Presidential “Executive Order” would be met by an overwhelming majority of Americans to expel their attempt. Try it. See it for yourself, Mr. President! See it for all of Americans who are being stretched out of their income by the ever-increasing cost of oil and gasoline!
The two leading Democrats for President of the United States are both talking about the increasing cost of gasoline, when both, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Sen. Barack Obama have both voted “NO”, “NO”, “NO” on additional exploration, especially in ANWAR. How many times have these two (2) leading Presidential candidates, along with many other Democrats, voted “NO”, so as the USA may be able to become “oil independent” from the OPEC nations? Both Senators Clinton and Obama talk about the United States becoming “oil independent”, yet both vote against additional drilling in “known oil reserves”. Their spoken words versus their true action “votes” in the US Senate are “despicable”. Why not vote “YES” to drilling for “known oil reserves” to protect our citizens, their jobs, and our entire US economy?
Are the Democrat candidates for the Presidency and on Capitol Hill now attempting to steal the issue of escalating oil and gasoline prices when the solution of lower oil and gasoline prices are awaiting their own political votes of “YES” to drilling for “known oil reserves” to be captured? How brainless do they think we are?
Oh, it is not just Democrats. There are a few Capitol Hill minority Republicans as well who continue to vote “NO” for tapping “known oil reserves”. All must acknowledge President Bush seems to have little or no leadership on these issues of forcing those on Capitol Hill to tap for “known oil reserves” or protecting the increasing financial tension on seniors, either.
It may be difficult to find many who are more Conservative than I, and it is challenging to find many more supportive than I have been of President George W. Bush. Some nine (9) years ago, I asked Republicans in my community, my state, and my nation to support George W. Bush as our nominee in the GOP for President of the United States. My adage was President Bush would build the GOP of today, just as FDR did the same for the Democrat Party of yesterday. My, my, my.
When did you last hear from President Bush address the “seniors” issue? Does President Bush have anything left on the “seniors” issue from where he often describes from a “bully pulpit”? Who is protecting America’s seniors? Where is the leadership on Capitol Hill from both political parties? Why are so many, so silent on the “seniors” issue? American seniors do vote! Protecting Our Innocent Minds For Our Generations Of Tomorrow
News reports this week the "Day of Silence" is being celebrated in Mecklenburg County schools. This is a protest in support of homosexual and transgender school children.
Upon further research, I've found that the National Campaign for Tolerance is a proud co-sponsor of this event. Many “Christian” parents are being urged to keep their children at home on this date. Why does this matter? One of our current Union County Public School Board members and current Union County Commission candidate, Kim Rogers, says on her Web Site, http://kimrogers2008.org/ that she is a founding member of the National Campaign for Tolerance. Ms. Rogers also serves on our Union County Public School's “Curriculum Committee” which is responsible for proposing and approving social justice programs, such as the pro-gay National Campaign for Tolerance. http://www.tolerance.org/parents/kidsarticle.jsp?p=0&ar=53. I am personally appalled that Ms. Rogers proudly supports this organization, and with this kind of thinking, she may wish to infect our children's minds with pro-homosexual materials and teachings. As I have written on previous occasions many times before, I am opposed to these so-called “social justice” teachings which are against my trusted “King James Version” Bible.
Is there any wonder why so many parents are rejecting these teachings and pulling their children out of our public schools system?
I ask you to reconsider any thought of support and choose to oppose Kim Rogers for Union County Commission on May 6.

Yes To New Registration. Are They Legal?
(A personal commentary from a new report, copied and pasted below, from the Raleigh, NC News & Observer)
I can't prove it, but I can just "smell" it!
I do believe a "deep study" for legal verification will show many of the new voter registrations in NC will show many, yes, I said many of the new registrations are illegal immigrants, without US citizenship, which would make them illegal voter registrations.
If so, each registered voter without US citizenship are stealing the votes from each and all voter(s) who is and/or are US citizen(s).
Who can and will "check it out"? If so, who will prosecute? Time is of the essence!

The 2.6 percent increase in registered voters has come as two top positions -- president and governor -- are being vacated by second-term incumbents with no obvious political heir.
The State Board of Elections calculated the new numbers over the weekend, including residents who
filed by Friday's deadline for traditional registration. Still, North Carolinians can register and vote at one-stop sites from Thursday through May 3.
Slightly more than half of the new voters are Democrats.
In all, new registered voters were: 76,131 Democrats, or 53 percent; 53,732 unaffiliated, or 37 percent; and 14,911 Republicans, or 10 percent.
That left the state with 5.75 million voters.
