Our US Constitution and qualifying for the Presidency

Who is qualified to become US President? What does it take? Over the years, many political “intellectuals” have formed their own determinations as to what it takes to become qualified as President of the United States.

The answer to qualifying any candidate to become US President is simple and adequately defined under our US Constitution. This simplicity should remain with our government.

To become President of the United States, Article. II., Section. 1. says: “No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.” http://archives.gov/exhibits/charters/constitution_transcript.html

Over the years, many political “intellectuals” have expanded their own resolves on many other issues. These government extensions usually lead to more liberal, expansive, and ridiculous government controls; thus, leading to excessive and restrictive freedoms.

With this thorough simplicity, as clearly defined, why do so many political “intellectuals” feel it may be necessary to make determinations that surpass our US Constitution?

Is the enemy of my enemy really a friend of mine?

Today, the radical Islamic Nations’ governments in the Mid-East and North Africa are in chaos. With the fall of the Egyptian government to the “Islamic Muslim of the Brotherhood”, and with other nations that most likely will also fall, who should America champion on these issues? Which side should President Obama and his administration choose to support, if either? Political polls are saying that by some 2 to 1, Americans are saying to not become involved in the Libyan civil war.

There is an old saying that “The Enemy of My Enemy is My Friend”. When Russia invaded Afghanistan in 1979, Prime Minister Amin, a Communist, was trying to eliminate Islamic Muslin customs. Amin was killed by the Russian soldiers and replaced by Barak Kamal. Many Islamic Muslims fled the cities to live in the mountains and join the guerilla group, the Mujahdeen; to fight a holy war for Allah. Afghanistan’s Mujahedeen were radical Islamic Muslim warriors.

In January 1980, the United Nations condemned Russia for their invasion with their military forces, but Russia vetoed the motion. President Carter allowed American surface-to-air missiles with Mujahdeen fighters that were used to shoot down Russian helicopters and fighter jets.

By the late 1980’s, Afghan Taliban fighters overtook the Mujahdeen and took over Afghanistan to reinstate radical Islamic Muslin’s Sharia Law. In February 1989, the Russian soldiers, in defeat, were forced to leave Afghanistan.

Today, President Obama and his administration are shifting our efforts to defeat Libyan Leader Muammar Qaddafi. We all must remember December 21, 1988 as Pan Am Flight 103 with 243 passengers and 16 crew members were killed as a bomb exploded on Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland. In January 2001, Libyan’s Abdelbaset al-Megrahi was convicted of murder in the bombing.

In August 2009, Abdelbaset al-Megrahi was released from prison and allowed to return to Libya as al-Megrahi was reportedly terminally ill from prostate cancer and had only three months to live. It now appears the medical report was falsified as al-Megrahi appears to now be in excellent health. What were President Obama’s own intelligence report, his other knowledge, and/or his responsibility in allowing the release of al-Megrahi after his responsibility for 259 innocent lives?

The question is, “Why should Americans follow the Obama administration in assisting another group of radical Islamic Muslims to defeat Muammar Qaddafi”? No true loving American should support Libyan’s Qaddafi; however, Americans who support Constitutional freedoms and Judeo-Christian values are in condemnation to radical Islamic Muslims’ Sharia Law.

Sharia Law is a radical Islamic Muslim’ foundational system of government. Our US Constitution is our American foundational system of government. It is my belief that the Islamic “Muslim of the Brotherhood” will continue to overthrow other Middle-Eastern and North African nation governments, forcing their Sharia Law system of government. Following these revolutions, the radical Islamic “Muslim of the Brotherhood” will then move into Western Europe for more government transformations. Radical Islamic Muslims openly declare they will take over the world.

This is the primary reason as to why America should not support Libyan’s Qaddafi or other radical Islamic “Muslim of the Brotherhood” group. America and all other nations of the “free world” should take a step back and deny any support to any radical Islamic Muslim government that denies a free and open Republic system of government. Is President Obama supporting newborn radical Islamic Muslim governments? An enemy of my enemy actually is not a friend of mine.

Voter Fraud legislation is to provide honest, free, and open election results

The new election legislation in the North Carolina General Assembly is to prevent alleged voter fraud. Each and every state legislature in America should be formulating every effort to prevent voter deception. Reports of voter fraud are flourishing in North Carolina and all across America. Voter photo ID for voting is one way in an effort to prevent voter fraud. I believe each and every prospective voting citizen should also sign in by writing his/her own signature on each and every election guaranteeing their own entire identity.

Wherever the ugly “voter fraud” arises, it must be fully investigated, aggressively prosecuted, and upon conviction, the convicted felon sentenced to active prison time. Free and open voting elections are one of the most precious freedoms under our Constitution. Voter fraud is a Constitutional violation of one of our freedoms; an open election by qualified voters to have their votes entirely counted.

The majority Republican Party General Assembly is to be commended for making the necessary changes in NC law to protect each and every voter. Then legally eligible votes will be properly counted. Anyone who opposes this legislation to protect the legal votes of eligible voters would, otherwise, support voter fraud.
