What will they decide? Who will they choose? Who will we elect? Presidential Election Year 2008 has arrived as we put year 2007 behind us and face a new year. In the process of choosing, our Presidential nominees on November 4, 2008 go on to elect our new President of the United States, whom will serve our nation for the next four years.
The State of Iowa gets it started using the “Political Caucus” system on January 3, 2008 with the activists Democrats and Republicans meetings at their designated separate locations representing their own elective precincts all across the state to vote for whomever they choose. Each will be there to vote for their preferred candidate to represent their own political party as their nominee for President of the United States.
The State of New Hampshire is second in line on January 8 using the “Primary Election” process as is followed by most other states allowing the registered voters to elect their own choice candidate to represent their own political party as their nominee for President of the United States.
Most states do require the voter be registered with the specific Political Party in which primary election they choose to vote. A few states have an “Open Election” so as any registered voter can go the precincts’ location, choose the partisan primary election they wish to vote in, and proceed to vote in that partisan primary election. Each registered voter is permitted to vote in only the one partisan election primary in which each chooses.
Some states allow “Unaffiliated” or “Independent” voters to go the precincts, choose the primary partisan election they wish to vote in, and proceed to vote in the one primary election in which each chooses.
The “Political Process” continues throughout all the fifty states and additional American territories down the months until the “Caucuses” or “Primary Election” process is completed and until each of the political parties hold their own respective Democrat, Republican, or other Political Party National Conventions to count the allowed delegates and/or alternates to declare a winner as their nominee. The winner will represent his or her own political party on the “Presidential Ballot” on each qualified state. With the nominees declared by the political parties, the General Election begins, ending with a victory on the election of November 4, 2008.
According to a report by “One News Now” http://www.onenewsnow.com on December 27, 2007, and according to a “Judicial Watch” account, four of the top Presidential nominees, two from the Democrat Party and two from the Republican Party are listed by “Judicial Watch” as the "Ten Most Wanted Corrupt Politicians” list. “Judicial Watch” is a most trusted non-partisan, non-profit, public interest law firm dedicated to fighting government corruption.
Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are both on the “Judicial Watch” list as Democrat Party Presidential candidates while “Judicial Watch” reports former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani are Republican Party Presidential candidates on the list.
As the article by Chad Groening in his expose in “One News Now”, (OneNewsNow.com) http://www.onenewsnow.com/2007/12/four_presidential_candidates_a.php: As quoted by Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton says Mrs. Clinton has a long and "sordid" ethics record dating back to when she first entered public life -- and in 2007 the scandals continued.
"In 2007 she didn't bother reporting her personal foundation, as required by law," says Fitton. "And one of her top donors, Norman Hsu, turned out to be a felon who was a fugitive as well. And the Clintons were doing their usual fundraising shenanigans -- so she made our list."
Barack Obama made the list because of his involvement in a suspicious real estate deal with an indicted political fundraiser, the Judicial Watch president says. As for Huckabee, says the report, 14 ethics complaints and "a volley of questions about his integrity" got him listed. And Fitton says Giuliani came under fire for several questionable deals when he was having an extra-marital relationship with his future wife, Judith Nathan.
Others on Judicial Watch's "Ten Most Wanted Corrupt Politicians" list include (in alphabetical order): Congressman John Conyers (D-Michigan), Senator Larry Craig (R-Idaho), Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-California), Lewis "Scooter" Libby (former chief of staff to Vice President Dick Cheney), Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-California), and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada).
I will confess, up front, that I practice my politics, in this order, as a Christian, Conservative, Republican. In the Republican Party, we do have obstacles over several of our candidates. The GOP needs some real political economic, social, and moral “mending” from within. The Democrat Party, to me, is much more “desperate” in need for real Judeo-Christian all American “leadership” values.
Hillary Clinton has stated that she would have Bill Clinton serve as an “ambassador” representing her administration throughout the world. President Bill Clinton is the only President of the United States who has ever been declared guilty of lying under oath in a judicial hearing and disbarred from practicing law before the United States Supreme Court:
D-2270 IN THE MATTER OF DISCIPLINE OF BILL CLINTON - Bill Clinton, of New York, New York, is suspended from the practice of law in this Court and a rule will issue, returnable within 40 days, requiring him to show cause why he should not be disbarred from the practice of law in this Court.
President Clinton had a right to petition the SCOTUS conclusion, but chose not to appeal their decision.
Hillary Clinton is now saying if she is elected President, the cost of oil will go down. How ignorant does Senator Clinton think Americans are? How many times has Senator Clinton voted “NO”, even recently, for further drilling and/or exploring for additional oil resources, which could and would make America “free” from the oil producing countries? We see and we feel the cost of exploding oil cost every time we purchase gasoline at the pumps for our cars and our trucks. Again, how unaware does Hillary Clinton think Americans are? With the price of gasoline around $3.00/gallon and higher, and time after time to vote on additional drilling for oil and/or exploring for additional oil in the US Senate, Senator Hillary Clinton and Senator Barrack Hussein Obama voted “NO”. Each vote “NO” on this legislation was “a vote against the American consumer” and “a vote for the OPEC nations”. Additionally, when will Hillary Clinton release her sealed records? She and she alone, hold the key to open her record for honest public evaluation.
Barrack Obama was recently photographed while failing to recite the “Pledge of Allegiance” and/or to cross his right hand over his heart as the “Pledge of Allegiance” was recited. In addition, he wants Americans to vote for him. How can Barack Hussein Obama expect members of our U.S. military and/or members of the military families to vote for him? I served in the US Army to protect our US Flag, our US Constitution, and our freedoms. Based on the Barack Obama photograph rejecting to recite the “Pledge of Allegiance” and/or to place his right hand over his heart during the recitation, why would any freedom loving American vote for Barack Hussein Obama?
John Edwards, the third leading Democrat, allegedly made millions, or perhaps hundreds of millions of dollars in Courts across America, practicing law against, for one, the pharmaceutical industry using what has been referred to as his own “junk science”. Health care has rocketed in cost to all Americans. Many Americans are uninsured due to the fast escalating medical insurance cost. Many Americans just do not have the resources to pay for adequate health insurance. If John Edwards used “junk science” to convince juries, would he be willing to return his winnings back to the pharmaceutical industry or to the poor so to help reduce medical and pharmaceutical cost to the American public? I doubt that.
What will they decide? Who will they choose? On November 4, 2008, who will we elect as our next President of the United States?
