WISDOM

If you support our national security issues, you may love and appreciate the United States of America, our Constitution with its’ freedoms, and our American flag.

If you support and practice our fiscal issues, you may value worldly possessions.

If you support and value our social issues, you may love Judeo-Christian values.

If you support and practice all these values, that is all good; an insignia of “Wisdom” . - Oscar Y. Harward

NC Rep. Frank McGuirt votes to oppose North Carolinians own Healthcare

By Oscar Y. Harward

Political polls all across America, including North Carolina, are calling to reject ObamaCare. After following the political polls, you would think most elected representatives would listen to their constituents. Not necessarily so!

On March 9, 2011, the Republican Party majority NC House was attempting to override Democrat Governor Beverly Perdue’s veto that would allow North Carolinians the right to purchase their own health insurance; Short Title: North Carolina Health Benefit Exchange Act http://www.ncga.state.nc.us/sessions/2011/bills/house/pdf/h115v1.pdf

Governor Perdue’s newly appointed NC House District 69 Representative Frank McGuirt voted “NO” on allowing North Carolinians to purchase their own health care. Can you believe it? In voting “NO” on this legislation, Rep. Frank McGuirt was voting in favor of ObamaCare. ObamaCare has become Americans most publically condemned legislation ever as “crammed down (y)our throats” on December 24, 2009 by the Obama/Reid/Pelosi team and Capitol Hill Democrats http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=111&session=1&vote=00396.

This act was one of Rep. McGuirt’s most early important votes of citizens’ abandonment to allow his constituents the ability to maintain their own Healthcare. http://www.ncga.state.nc.us/gascripts/voteHistory/MemberVoteHistory.pl?sSession=2011&sChamber=H&nUserID=121. NC House District 69 covers all of Anson County and part of southeastern Union County.
