WISDOM

If you support our national security issues, you may love and appreciate the United States of America, our Constitution with its’ freedoms, and our American flag.

If you support and practice our fiscal issues, you may value worldly possessions.

If you support and value our social issues, you may love Judeo-Christian values.

If you support and practice all these values, that is all good; an insignia of “Wisdom” . - Oscar Y. Harward

America First Manufacturing Reborn

February 23, 2009

GM and Chrysler are asking for more taxpayers’ money. A majority of Democrats with a few Republicans and Independents on Capitol Hill have the US checkbook and/or credit cards open. The majority Democrats’ desire is to please organize labor, at ‘all cost’. Organized Labor gives hundreds of Millions of dollars and free labor to a full majority to Liberal Democrats in elections. It appears with this legislation, it may be their choice to ‘pay to play’, with American taxpayers, their children, their grandchildren, and more, who are footing these bills to be paid, if ever. Did American voters really realize what they were voting for in November, 2008? As the ‘Stimulus’ legislations amount owed becomes due, the taxpayers may witness what the sum owed is, for themselves and future generations. Is America becoming a Socialistic system of government and/or society, in lieu of a Democratic Republic system? Do Americans really know and/or do they care?

America’s economy is in despair. Manufacturing, and especially America’s ‘Big 3’ automakers, needs to return. The obstacle to the immediate restoration is the leadership of the UAW. UAW workers currently earn some $150,000 and more annually, in salaries and benefits, yet many refuse to renegotiate their labor contracts. These excessive salaries and benefits force consumers, based on prices and quality, to purchase their vehicles from other manufacturers.

In lieu of UAW renegotiating labor contracts, the solution for ‘Big 3’; namely GM, Chrysler, and Ford is to go into Chapter 11 of the US Bankruptcy Court. The Federal Court may then cancel these labor contracts by reducing salaries and benefits by upwards of 50%, from the existing $150,000 and more annual rates. For America to survive, our manufacturing must not only survive, but also expand this important ingredient part of our economy.

American manufacturing must survive, be reborn, expand and outlive the overconfident, arrogant, and selfish AFL-CIO, UAW, and USW leaders who refuse to resolutely negotiate, even at the expense of destroying their own jobs and/or this entire segment of our US economy.

America manufacturing leaders and workers must put ‘America First’ above self-greed. Americans are fed up with arrogant and selfish workers who think or no one other than themselves. We all must leave future generations a chance for success!
