WISDOM

If you support our national security issues, you may love and appreciate the United States of America, our Constitution with its’ freedoms, and our American flag.

If you support and practice our fiscal issues, you may value worldly possessions.

If you support and value our social issues, you may love Judeo-Christian values.

If you support and practice all these values, that is all good; an insignia of “Wisdom” . - Oscar Y. Harward

G.W. Bush’s tax relief for all in a recovering economy

The issue of a fragile economy continues. President Obama and Capitol Hill Democrats just do not get it. A recovering economy compels new jobs, jobs, and more jobs. Will the Capitol Hill Democrats ever learn simple economics? Are the Capitol Hill Democrats so wrapped up in Socialism to even consider a free and open economy?

President Obama and majority Capitol Hill Democrats continue to demand that G.W. Bush’s tax cuts, if expanded, must go to middle income taxpayers while denying tax-relief to the upper-income taxpayers. Democrats are now suggesting that they will expand the tax cuts to all for one year.

America, Capitol Hill Democrats Plan is a political “trap” designed to never allow the GOP to offer tax relief to higher-income taxpayers. With their plan, Democrats would return to their older, disgraceful strategy that Republicans will only support the rich.

Leaders of the Republican Party on Capitol Hill are insisting legislators to continue the G.W. Bush tax cuts indefinitely. The tax relief is needed to encourage upper-income taxpayers to invest in new businesses.

The question is when and where do Capitol Hill Democrats propose for new jobs and the expansion of existing jobs going to come from? How many new jobs have you witnessed lower and middle income taxpayers create? What good is tax relief for lower and middle income taxpayers unless there are jobs? The answer is to provide tax relief for all so as the higher income taxpayers are willing to put up their resources in creating new jobs as well as expanding existing jobs.

Capitol Hill Democrats continue to force the issue to increase taxes on higher-income taxpayers. Capitol Hill Democrats’ plan is a manipulation of the facts. Higher-income taxpayers do create new jobs and expand existing jobs. Capitol Hill Democrats continue to doom an economic recovery by promising more and more to the poor when, in fact, America is nearing bankruptcy.

47% of all households in America owed no income taxes for 2009. Ten percent of the higher-income taxpayers pay 70% of all taxes collected by our government. One percent of the higher-income taxpayers pay 38% of all taxes collected. How much more does Capitol Hill Democrats believe they can continue to bleed upper-income taxpayers before the taxpayers decide to quit creating jobs and expanding existing jobs?

You may remember that in December 2009, President Obama invited CEO’s, some small business leaders, and many of his SEIU, AFL/CIO, and other labor union supporters in his Economic Growth Forum. President Obama failed to invite members of the Chamber of Commerce, National Federation of Independent Business, or other professional business associates. How many jobs came out of President Obama’s Economic Growth Forum?

Do Capitol Hill Democrats ever remember that raising taxes created jobs or helped out in expanding jobs? On the other hand, does any of the Capitol Hill Democrats neglect history of reduced taxes create new jobs, expand existing jobs, and expand more tax revenues?

America’s economy is based on a free and open economy. If you work harder and smarter than others are willing to, you may be able to acquire more income. Capitol Hill Democrats continue to punish those who work harder and smarter creating jobs and expanding jobs. What is Capitol Hill Democrats plan if and when upper-income taxpayers decide that enough is enough and decide to quit? Where will the jobs come from? When will Capitol Hill Democrats recognize that redistribution of wealth is an immoral decision for a free and open economy?
