WISDOM

If you support our national security issues, you may love and appreciate the United States of America, our Constitution with its’ freedoms, and our American flag.

If you support and practice our fiscal issues, you may value worldly possessions.

If you support and value our social issues, you may love Judeo-Christian values.

If you support and practice all these values, that is all good; an insignia of “Wisdom” . - Oscar Y. Harward

Massachusetts Legislature’s Arrogance To Prevent A Special Election

The majority Democrats in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts appear to be out to change the state law, just to fit their own personal political cause. Some years ago, Massachusetts had a law for the Governor to replace a vacancy.

Then, along came the election of a new governor who happened to be Republican Mitt Romney. To prevent GOP Governor Romney from making an open appointment, members of the state house and senate passed a new law to require a special election to fill a vacancy.
Now that GOP Gov. Romney is gone, and a Democrat Governor is in place, the Massachusetts General Assembly is considering changing the law to again, allow the state Governor to appoint a replacement for the late Sen. Kennedy
.
It appears the majority Massachusetts Democrats have caught up with, and joined President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder in destroying objectivity in the free and open political process, and replacing it with pure left-wing, radical, liberal, Democrat Party partisan politics? You see, these legislators do not want to wait for some few 120 to 150 days for a special election. They do not want to give you a choice as to whom, you, the citizens of Massachusetts want to replace in Sen. Kennedy’s US Senate seat.

This action is just the type of arrogance which as the lady from Pennsylvania told Sen. Specter (D-PA) at a Town Hall meeting “You have awakened a sleeping giant”. Yes, America is awakening!
