WISDOM

If you support our national security issues, you may love and appreciate the United States of America, our Constitution with its’ freedoms, and our American flag.

If you support and practice our fiscal issues, you may value worldly possessions.

If you support and value our social issues, you may love Judeo-Christian values.

If you support and practice all these values, that is all good; an insignia of “Wisdom” . - Oscar Y. Harward

America’s economic survival is built on jobs, not on Labor Unions

By: Oscar Y. Harward

America was established by our forefathers under our Constitution for an open free society. Jobs are created by men and women who are willing to invest their resources into industry for a better society: men and/or women becoming employers. With these investments, jobs are created and/or expanded allowing others to obtain a new(er) job with additional pay, better working conditions, and/or enhanced benefits.

This continuing competitiveness between employers and employees is a balance that keeps America growing economically while providing a better lifestyle for employee workers. As this example of competitiveness, the employer is required to increase the employee’s pay and/or benefits, and/or better working conditions, or lose the employee to another employer’s competitor.

Employer/employee problems begin when Unions arrive in businesses promising employees’ higher pay and/or better working conditions and/or added benefits. Employers and employees are always seeking to improve themselves; however, there are occasions when businesses/employers reach a time when employees’ demands exceed product costs and labor costs, thus leading to dwindling profits. Often, Labor Unions, in representing the employees, refuse to work out economic differences with employers, hence requiring businesses to close, leaving all employees to lose their jobs.

Over the years, liberal legislators on Capitol Hill and in states’ General Legislatures have passed legislation which provides the power of Unions over the employers. Employers are prohibited from hiring new employees to fill a position opened, even when a Union member went on strike and walked out.

Are Americans too spoiled to understand that the men and women of this great nation are those who invest their resources to create jobs? When was the last time you heard of a financially broke person who opened a new business creating jobs?

In looking into the Holy Bible: Matthews 25: 14-30, God illustrates how He gives talents to those who take their talents to expand additional talents. All do not accept the talents to grow with.

Labor Unions throughout America have forced many businesses to close. For their over-excessive demands, Labor Unions must be legislatively controlled, or America will no longer be competitive at all in the marketplace. America is near to becoming number two (2) or, perhaps, number three (3) economically throughout the world. Americans deserves better and must continue to be the world’s number one (1) economic nation.

Unions must understand that men and women in America must have resources to become employers in providing jobs for employees. This is what has made America the most economic nation on earth.

Does America decide on the Republican Party and give tax incentives to those who have resources to create jobs?

Does America decide on the Democrat Party to deny tax incentives to those who have resources and who, otherwise, lack the tax incentives to create jobs?

The later decision is for the Democrats on Capitol Hill to destroy an open and free economy while moving America closer toward a Socialistic government?

As author Napoleon Hill said, “It is literally true that you can succeed best and quickest by helping others to succeed”.
