WISDOM

If you support our national security issues, you may love and appreciate the United States of America, our Constitution with its’ freedoms, and our American flag.

If you support and practice our fiscal issues, you may value worldly possessions.

If you support and value our social issues, you may love Judeo-Christian values.

If you support and practice all these values, that is all good; an insignia of “Wisdom” . - Oscar Y. Harward

President Obama and Capitol Hill’s arrogance regarding America’s taxpayers

By Oscar Y. Harward

With little more than one month to go prior to our 2010 General Election, the arrogance of President Obama, Senate majority Leader Harry Reid, and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi continues. American taxpayers are asking if these three (3) Washington, DC Democrat Party leaders ever listen!

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer have both now said they will not allow a vote to extend the GW Bush 2001 and 2001 tax reductions. On January 1, 2011, American taxpayers are just before receiving the highest tax increases in US history.

Top income tax rate will jump from 35% to 39.4%. The lowest income tax rates will increase from 10% to 15%. There are other brackets between the highest tax rates of 39.4 and the lowest tax rate of 15%.

As I have reported earlier, there are a number of employees in the White House and on Capitol Hill who owe a total of more than $10 Million taxes in default. How can it be that those who write, vote, and/or work at the expense of our taxpayers’ system, are some of the ones who evade taxes on a timely manner?

New Senate and Congress members were sworn in basically on January 6, 2009 with a few members later. President Obama was sworn in on January 20, 2009. This Democrat Party majority seemed to have a radical agenda and have commanded a socialistic scheme on fiscal and social issues, with disregard to the American voters. Regardless of political polls, these left-wingers crammed their views through the legislative process with little contempt to Americans’ legal or political views. Even today, a majority Democrat Party are refusing to retain the GW Bust tax reductions of 2001 and 2003. President Obama and the 111th Congress have more deficit spending than all Congresses from the beginning in 1776 to the Ronald Reagan administration. After spending more than $1 Trillion of “Stimulus” and other “so-called” job projects, etc., America is economically bankrupt with no evidence of a recovering economy.

Now, with a little more than one month to go, many of these mostly Democrat Party liberals legislators are seeing political polls that show Americans need a change. What I am finding is that a majority of the electorate are firm to defeat each and every liberal Democrat Party member on Capitol Hill. As General Election day, November 2 gets closer and these liberal Democrats are facing many political losses, do not be surprised for a special session to renew the “GW Bush tax reductions”. The question then becomes: “Is it now too little and too late for the radical liberal Democrats on Capitol Hill to recover”?
