Democrats, Unions, and their denial of freedoms

Here we go again! The majority Democrat Party on Capitol Hill is trying to “cram down (y)our throats” new legislation, again. This is the Capitol Hill Democrat Party’s newest effort to overturn SCOTUS’ decision in allowing businesses, that provide new and expansion of jobs, to provide resources in the political process. Similarly, Labor Unions, which destroy jobs, are allowed to participate in the political process.

This Democrat Party’s legislation is called the “Disclose Act” – S. 3628. As usual, it is difficult to understand the Democrat Party’s legislation by name, as the name is distorted in practice. In this legislation, the only “disclosure” is to prohibit businesses from donating in the political process. When will Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) and the majority Democrat Party on Capitol Hill deny job killing Labor Unions from participating in the political process? This new legislation, S. 3628, exempts any “Disclosure” from Labor Unions.

Under Senator Schumer’s introduced S. 3628 legislation, approximately 80% of American businesses will be prohibited from participating in the election process, but the Democrat Party’s Labor Unions can operate as usual. The US House, under Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), has already passed a comparable bill H.R. 5175 on June 24, 2010 by a YEA-219 to NAY-206 on Roll Call #391.

Some two (2) weeks ago, President Obama gave a speech on his decision to prohibit American businesses from participating in the political process. Obama allows his Labor Unions and their participation. Whether Americans have jobs or not, President Obama will protect Labor Unions and their activity with (y)our taxpayers’ money.

You may remember when President Obama holds economic conference meetings, Labor Union are invited, but business groups who represent jobs; Chamber of Commerce, National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), etc. are not invited.

During the 2008 election, Labor Unions provided over $74.5 Million, with 68.3 Million or 92% of their resources going to the Democrat Party. Labor Unions have already provided $6.5 Million for the 2010 Elections with $6 Million or 92% going to the Democrats.

Need worry! President Barack Obama, Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV), and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA-8) are taking (y)our taxpayers’ money and giving it to the Labor Unions. America may by financially bankrupt, but the team of Obama/Reid/Pelosi always find (y)our money for the Labor Unions.

While the majority Democrat Party “crammed down (y)our throats” to bailout GM and Chrysler with (y)our taxpayers’ loaned money, General Motors made an announcement that GM, which is now owned by the US Government, not the public sector, was going to donate (y)our loaned taxpayers’ money to the Democrat Party. GM has already donated $41,000 to various groups, with $36,000 going to the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation.

When will President Obama and the Capitol Hill team of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi start looking after the American workers to restore our economy and protect our Constitutional rights?
