WISDOM

If you support our national security issues, you may love and appreciate the United States of America, our Constitution with its’ freedoms, and our American flag.

If you support and practice our fiscal issues, you may value worldly possessions.

If you support and value our social issues, you may love Judeo-Christian values.

If you support and practice all these values, that is all good; an insignia of “Wisdom” . - Oscar Y. Harward

66% of Americans support HR 2560 “Cut, Cap, and Balance”. Senate Democrats reject.

By Oscar Y. Harward

Could it be President Obama’s strategy to demand more wasteful, out-of-control spending or force a US Government “shutdown” which may result to “rioting in the streets”?  With that, Obama may then order “Marshall Law” to suspend our Constitutional government.

Based on a CNN political poll http://www.mrc.org/biasalert/2011/20110722052837.aspx, 66% of Americans support HR 2560, “Cut, Cap, and Balance”, deficit reduction legislation, and a Budget-Cutting Constitutional Amendment as supported by Republicans and ratified in the US House on July 19, 2011 http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2011/roll606.xml.

66% of Democrats and 65% of independents said they would approve of such a plan that caps spending at 19.9% of GDP (not at 18%, as some, including numerous senators, have claimed), cuts $111 billion out of the fiscal 2012 budget, and requires a “balanced budget amendment” before Congress can raise the debt ceiling http://blog.heritage.org/2011/07/21/cnn-poll-two-thirds-of-americans-support-cut-cap-and-balance-plan/.

During a short 2.5 years, President Obama and Capitol Hill Democrats have increased our National Debt by nearly $4 trillion. In November 2010, Americans responded by rejecting the Democrats’ radical, ObamaCare and other wasteful, out-of-control spending; electing a 63 new added GOP majority in the US House, 6 new additional seats in the US Senate, and 680 additional seats in state legislatures granting the Republican Party as a majority party in 25 of the 50 state legislatures compared to Democrats in control of 15 state legislatures, with 10 states’ senate/house legislatures split.

On Vote Number 116  on July 22, 2011, a US Senate Democrat Party majority chose YEAs en route to “Table and/or Kill” legislation “Cut, Cap, and Balance” with the Balanced-Budget Constitutional Amendment http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=112&session=1&vote=00116 on a vote with 51 YEAs to 46 NAYs and with 3 Senators Not Voting. All 49 Democrats and 2 Independents chose to confirm YEAs en route to “Table and/or Kill” the legislation. 2 Democrats did not vote.

Of the 49 Democrats, or their Senate seats up for re-election in 2012, and who chose to confirm YEAs en route for “Table and/or Kill” “Cut, Cap, and Balance” with the Balanced-Budget Constitutional Amendment are: Akaka (D-HI), Bingaman (D-NM), Brown (D-OH), Cantwell D-WA, Cardin (D-MD), Carper (D-DE), Casey- (D-PA), Conrad (D-ND), Feinstein (D-CA), Klobuchar (D-MN), Kohl (D-WI), Manchin (D-WV), McCaskill (D-MO), Menendez (D-NJ), Nelson (D-FL), Nelson (D-NE), Stabenow (D-MI), Tester (D-MT), Webb (D-VA), Whitehouse (D-RI) http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm?Class=1.

2 Independents, or their Senate seats up for re-election in 2012, and who chose to confirm YEAs en route for “Table and/or Kill” “Cut, Cap, and Balance” with the Balanced-Budget Constitutional Amendment are: Lieberman (ID-CT) and Sanders (I-VT).

House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) said that the “Balanced-Budget Constitutional Amendment”, if ratified, would make it “virtually impossible” to raise taxes.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) on Thursday called it “some of the worst legislation in the history of this country.”

Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) aptly summed up the left’s characterizations of the legislation, calling it “cruel, dangerous, and stupid.” http://blog.heritage.org/2011/07/21/cnn-poll-two-thirds-of-americans-support-cut-cap-and-balance-plan/

For “Cut, Cap, and Balance” with the Balanced-Budget Constitutional Amendment, all 46 Republicans chose NAYs en route to authorize and legislate “Cut, Cap, and Balance”, with the Budget cutting Constitutional Amendment. 1 member did not vote.  The GOP is attempting to control President Obama’s and Capitol Hill Democrats’ irrational, wasteful, out-of-control spending at taxpayers’ expense.

Without instantaneous and severe limitations on our out-of-control government spending, expect an immediate S&P’s AAA down-grading of our USA credit rating.

House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) said in a YouTube video he released last week, "Adoption of the balanced-budget amendment would help ensure such spending restraints are set in stone, and the certainty it provides will help create a better environment for job creation across the country," http://www.youtube.com/JohnBoehner

Will President Obama and Senate Democrats destroy our entire USA monetary structure by commanding more irrational, excessive, “out-of-control” spending of taxpayers’ monies? It appears President Obama and Capitol Hill Senate Democrats will stop at nothing short of “transforming America” from a free and open Constitutional government to a Socialistic/Communist government.
