Remember that “all Democrat members” of the NC House voted “Noes” and all Republicans voted “Ayes” on “Voter ID legislation “HR 351”.
Free and open elections are one of the most precious freedoms under our US Constitution. “Voter fraud is a Constitutional violation of our freedoms”; all elections by “qualified voters” to have their votes wholly counted. “Voter fraud diminishes every lawful voter’s rights”.
Each “legal voter” has “the right” to cast their “lawful votes” and be assured their vote is “accurately tallied”.
As others have said, we show photo ID to drive a car, fly on a plane, cash a check, open a bank account, visit the Governor's office, collect social security benefits, receive food stamps, collect welfare, rent a car, check into a hotel room, pickup tickets at will call...the list goes on & on. An ID would be provided at no cost to those who don't have an ID & cannot afford to purchase one.
NC Legislators who vote “NO” on Voter ID are more interested in fraudulent votes than on maintaining the integrity of elections.
It is essential for NC voters to remember and target each legislator’s vote in November 2012 on “HB 351.
