WISDOM

If you support our national security issues, you may love and appreciate the United States of America, our Constitution with its’ freedoms, and our American flag.

If you support and practice our fiscal issues, you may value worldly possessions.

If you support and value our social issues, you may love Judeo-Christian values.

If you support and practice all these values, that is all good; an insignia of “Wisdom” . - Oscar Y. Harward

ObamaCare Taxes, Penalizes, Further Deteriorates A Fragile Economy

On a regular basis, we see or hear of a community group or other cause receiving a ‘grant’ from a local, state, or federal government agency. Over the years we have become so acquainted with local government grants from the US Government, as allocated by our US Senate and US Congress, perhaps through a federal agency. These ‘grants’ may have been reserved by a US Senator or a US Congressman. We have received ‘grants’ from the states through our state legislatures and/or their agencies. We have become adapted to the political reasoning that there is no local money involved.

Do you ever think as to where this ‘grant’ money is coming from? Have you given the thought that the ‘grant’ money is taxpayers’ money from the federal, state, and/or local government coffers? Be aware, there are ‘grants’ given by foundations, corporations, individuals, etc. I am not here to say anything but positive achievements for these assemblages.

I write of this issue because our federal, state, and local governments are fiscally bankrupt. In spite of this reality, many on Capitol Hill refuse the fiscal source of our government budgets. Americans are awake, they are listening and they are watching. Americans are hurting financially and are screaming on Capitol Hill to stop the unnecessary spending.

The ‘financial bailout’ H.R. 1424 legislation of October 1, 2008; the ‘stimulus’ H.R. 1 legislation of February 13, 2009; additional ‘8% budget increase’ (earmarks: http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=aRVU5mcKP0oM&refer=home) H.R. 1105 of March 10,2009; the ‘Cash 4 Clunkers’ H.R. 3435; the ‘jobs’ H.R. 4691 legislation of 2010 has been full of ‘earmarks’, which usually become ‘grants’. The significant difference during this President Obama administration is that many ‘earmarks’ appear to be fraudulent as many are being directed to falsified zip codes. President Obama promised no earmarks. As usual, what Obama says and then does is frequently the opposite. When will our elected big-spenders on Capitol Hill awaken and smell the coffee?

Today, our economy is hurting with high unemployment. Existing jobs are deteriorating. Fewer new jobs are being created, and we are facing higher taxes. With these economical failures, many on Capitol Hill continue to spend as there is no end on funding.

ObamaCare legislation, as approved, will now bring increased insurance costs, more personal insurance deductibles, less accessibilities for Medicare and Medicaid as physicians reject reduced services. ObamaCare brings higher taxes and additional government penalties. Reports shows up to 42% of our physicians are suggesting they will abandon the medical profession, rather than accept the ObamaCare bureaucratic reduced rates. Above all, ObamaCare brings more government jurisdiction with more government regulations and other intrusions. This additional government power will need more government jobs thus requiring higher taxes. These reasons are why our economy with the implementation of ObamaCare. Our free economy will deteriorate, rather than expand.

Democrats on Capitol Hill continue to disregard the will of their own constituents, as political polls show most Americans oppose ObamaCare as presented. Most Americans support different healthcare reform as Democrat Party leaders have presented ObamaCare only while rejecting Republican Party healthcare ideas. Americans want healthcare improvements to start with tort reform. The Democrat Party leaders discard that notion.

Democrat Party leaders on Capitol Hill continue to say healthcare is a ‘constitutional right’. It is as if these leaders fall short of understanding ‘rights’ come from God and our US Constitution; not from within the intellect of a radical left-wing politician. It is my opinion that SCOTUS will find, if in question, that ‘healthcare’ is not a protected ‘constitutional right’ under our US Constitution, and further, legislators on Capitol Hill cannot mandate citizens to purchase healthcare.

America needs new leadership in Washington, DC who believes in tax reductions, less government regulations, and more gratis for new and existing jobs in an open, limitless, and friendly economy. President Obama verbalizes he supports a free and open market, but he seems to govern contradictory to his own expressions.
