Unemployment Insurance Is Not A Permanent Vacation

President Obama and Capitol Hill Democrats was playing games on Sen. Jim Bunning’s (R-KY) objection of spending another $10 billion on temporary jobless bill legislation without reimbursement. Sen. Reid’s game was merely for political gain, all at the expense of the unemployed and taxpayers. This $10 billion will now be added to the taxpayers’ bill which is adding more to our out-of-control national debt. When does it end? Someday, somehow, this debt must be repaid. Do any of these liberal democrats even care? The liberal ‘mean stream’ media supports the big spenders, even when there is no authorized validation. Is this the motivation as to why so many Americans are turning away from the ‘mean stream’ media?

I saw one video clip on Fox News Channel where a laid off teacher has been drawing unemployment pay for more than two years. This seems as if the National Education Association (NEA) Union is taking good care of their own. This lady needs to go out and find her another job even with less pay, if necessary, than whatever she was receiving previously. Unemployment insurance is to protect the unemployed for a limited period of time, not for a permanent vacation, just another justification as to our out-of-control job costs and expanding deficit spending.

What this stopgap jobless legislation now means is President Obama and Capitol Hill Democrats have pressured Sen. Bunning into approving the spending of another $10 billion of taxpayers’ funds, without any question whatsoever; putting it onto the national debt. President Obama and liberal Capitol Hill Democrats tell us they honor ‘Pay As You GO’ (PAYGO) legislation. This stopgap jobless legislation is just another example as to how those on Capitol Hill perjure themselves against their own honor. They assure PAYGO, and do the opposite; leaving the taxpayers to pay the bills. Again, the ‘mean stream’ media allows the liberals to spend and spend, and then fail to report the particulars of unpaid legislation.

How much more, and how much longer is President Obama and liberal Capitol Hill Democrats willing to spend on borrowed money, sending the bills to Americans’ taxpayers? America is financially broke. Next time you hear Capitol Hill Democrats tell you that they practice PAYGO, you can tell them that is just ‘another lie’. This continuous massive debt is being left to our children, our grandchildren, and their descendants, or to another system of government. When will it end?
