"It is of great importance to set a resolution, not to be shaken, never to tell an untruth.. There is no vice so mean, so pitiful, so contemptible; and he who permits himself to tell a lie once, finds it much easier to do it a second and a third time, till at length it becomes habitual; he tells lies without attending to it, and truths without the world's believing him. This falsehood of the tongue leads to that of the heart, and in time depraves all its good disposition." -- Thomas Jefferson

"Alliance Defense Fund" - What you see from the ADF Alliance Alert and Rasmussen Reports below is now, unfortunately, coming to America; in (y)our own communities. It all started when in 1963, SCOTUS removed the Bible from our schools. We have now raised a generation, who has now raised another generation, who is now raising yet another generation, whom may have not seen, or have been taught the Biblical teaching values in their own homes and/or in their own House of Worship. Many have never practiced, or been taught the importance of attendance in their own House of Worship. So many have never been taught the Ten Commandments. I said the Ten Commandments, not the ten suggestions. Our Bible is the most teaching instrument, and most read book in our world's history; however, more and more throughout America and the free world, are failing to learn and/or teach the lessons enclosed. The Christian community, has "sat around on (y)our bottoms", failing to study, fight, support, and vote by supporting candidates on this issue and other social issues in the political arena. Our God gives most of us the ability to learn and teach others on Judeo-Christian values. Have you pulled your part(s) of the wagon(s) for values education in your home, your community, your nation, or the world? It is (y)our decision. We don't need any poll showing 78% not convinced of our Biblical history on our Jesus nativity.
ADF Alliance Alert
Poll: 70% of Britons don’t believe in the nativity?
The Telegraph reports:
Young people were particularly doubtful about the nativity, with 78 per cent of 16-24-year-olds saying they were not convinced of its historical reliability.
Overall, 70 per cent were skeptical of the baby’s birth in a manger to a virgin mother, according to the poll of 1,000 people by the British Marketing Research Bureau.
Almost a quarter of those questioned who described themselves as Christians admitted they did not believe certain aspects of the Bible’s teaching about Jesus . . .
"Rasmussen Reports"
Our Judeo-Christian community must become more involved with the political process to protect the Biblical values of "yesteryear".
66% Say Christmas Is One of the Most Important Holidays
More Republicans (77%) regard Christmas as one of the most important holidays than Democrats (56%)
Eight percent (8%) of men and four percent (4%) of women consider Christmas one of the nations least important holidays
We cannot deny the fact that although this country tries its best to be secular, the topic of religion (especially the Christian religion) remains the forefront issue in most peoples' minds. According to a new poll conducted by Rasmussen, about 66% of people believe that Christmas is the most important holiday of the year.
To this author, Christmas has taken a whole new meaning. The commercialization and muddiness of this holiday has blurred the true meaning of the season: many have replaced 'the manger scene' with 'Santa Claus Lane'. But, to everyone's credit, this season does bring out the good in people--and for that, Christmas has and always will be one of the better holidays on our calendar (for the sole fact that society tries its best to better itself).
Additionally, non-Christians have also adopted this holiday. They embrace the good-natured will of gift giving and celebration, and for that fact, the holiday has succeeded.
From all of us here at usaelectionpolls.com, we wish you and yours a joyous holiday season. Merry Christmas!

CONGRESS GETS A PAY RAISE. DO THEY DESERVE IT?
Under existing law, as part of a deal to give up outside income from speeches and other sources, Congress receives an automatic pay raise unless it votes otherwise. In January, Congress will receive a raise of $4,700, this will increase the average Member's pay to about $174,000, or a 2.8 percent increase.
Does Congress deserve a raise this year? A bill was introduced to reject the pay increase, but it died in committee. Tell Congress what you think.
Congress Should Accept the Pay Raise

Just want to tell everyone that I am so grateful to have each of you in my life. I pray you all have a blessed holiday. It was difficult for me to decide who I thought would DO this. I hope I selected the right twelve. Please send this back to me. (You'll see why.) May everyone who receives this message be blessed. There are 12 months/12 disciples/12 tribes of Israel/Jesus' birth celebrated in the 12th month. There is nothing attached. Just send this to twelve others. Prayer is one of the best free gifts we receive. There is no cost, just a lot of rewards.
Make sure you pray, and pray believing God will answer.
May today be all you need it to be. May the Peace of God and the freshness of the Holy Spirit rest in your thoughts, rule in your dreams tonight, and conquer all your fears. May God manifest himself today in ways you have never experienced. May your joys be fulfilled, your dreams be closer, and your prayers be answered. I pray that faith enters a new height for you; I pray that your territory is enlarged. I pray for peace, healing, health, happiness, prosperity, joy, truth and undying love for God.
Woman and a Fork
There was a young woman who had been diagnosed with a terminal illness and had been given three months to live. So as she was getting her things 'in order,' she contacted her Pastor and had him come to her house to discuss certain aspects of her final wishes.
She told him which songs she wanted sung at the service, what scriptures she would like read, and what outfit she wanted to be buried in.
Everything was in order and the Pastor was preparing to leave when the young woman suddenly remembered something very important to her.
'There's one more thing,' she said excitedly.
'What's that?' came the Pastor's reply.
'This is very important,' the young woman continued. 'I want to be buried with a fork in my right hand.'
The Pastor stood looking at the young woman, not knowing quite what to say.
That surprises you, doesn't it?' the young woman asked.
'Well, to be honest, I'm puzzled by the request,' said the Pastor.
The young woman explained. 'My grandmother once told me this story, and from that time on I have always tried to pass along its message to those I love and those who are in need of encouragement. In all my years of attending socials and dinners, I always remember that when the dishes of the main course were being cleared, someone would inevitably lean over and say, 'Keep your fork.' It was my favorite part because I knew that something better was coming...like velvety chocolate cake or deep-dish apple pie. Something wonderful, and with substance!'
So, I just want people to see me there in that casket with a fork in my hand and I want them to wonder 'What's with the fork?' Then I want you to tell them: 'Keep your fork, the best is yet to come.'
The Pastor's eyes welled up with tears of joy as he hugged the young woman good-bye. He knew this would be one of the last times he would see her before her death. But he also knew that the young woman had a better grasp of heaven than he did. She had a better grasp of what heaven would be like than many people twice her age, with twice as much experience and knowledge. She KNEW that something better was coming.
At the funeral people were walking by the young woman's casket and they saw the cloak she was wearing and the fork placed in her right hand. Over and over, the Pastor heard the question, 'What's with the fork?' And over and over he smiled.
During his message, the Pastor told the people of the conversation he had with the young woman shortly before she died. He also told them about the fork and about what it symbolized to her. He told the people how he could not stop thinking about the fork and told them that they probably would
not be able to stop thinking about it either.
He was right. So the next time you reach down for your fork let it remind you, ever so gently, that the best is yet to come.
Friends are a very rare jewel, indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed.
Cherish the time you have, and the memories you share. Being friends with someone is not an opportunity but a sweet responsibility.

Today is the day we celebrate the birth of our Savior and Lord
Christmas. What a mystery. God becoming man. Virgin giving birth. Baby becomes king. King being crucified. God being tortured. Blood sacrifices to atone for sin. God being buried. God rising from the dead. Jesus going Home to Heaven. God paying a price we could not pay. Jesus taking the punishment for things He did not do.
I have a message for you all that some of you may have heard. It is THE most relevant Christmas message I have ever heard since I have been a Christian. Our pastor is the national voice of the Church of God. He is featured on Billy Graham's station www.wmit.org. He is an animated man who passionately loves Jesus. I urge you to take 30 minutes and listen--uninterrupted-- to this message--PLEASE! Let it sink into your heart. Share it with others.

I want to wish all my brothers and sisters and friends and family the Joy of the Birth of our Savior in our world and the Joy of His birth in our own lives. The Peace that only He can bring. The Wisdom, Insight and Discernment that is from Him and transcends all that is on earth. His Blessings, His Health, His Strength, His Protection, His Kindness, Grace and Mercy.
We face perilous times economically, morally, militarily, politically, environmentally, socially--we can only really look up, trust the Goodness of God and hold on to His unchanging Hand. And wait for His soon return to gather together to Himself His faithful children before all hell breaks loose.
Here is an additional gift for you beyond this fantastic Christmas message--listen to the words.
